Bansko Dancing Bears Park
In #Bulgaria 🇬🇧~🇫🇷 Near #Bansko you can see #bears ! There are a lot of wild bears in Bulgaria, but you can't approach them of course. Few people take baby bears from the wild and torture them to become "dancing bears" to make the show in the street. Most of them were seriously injured (3 legs for example). This tradition is almost over, because some organisations like Brigitte #Bardot rescued them and placed them in a natural park. They can't live in the wild anymore. The visit if free, based on tips! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Proche de Bansko, on peut visiter le "dancing bears park", où quelques dizaines d'ours arrachés à leur vie sauvage pour devenir des "danceurs de rue" reposent maintenant tranquillement dans ce parc créé en partie par la fondation Brigitte Bardot. La plupart avaient été gravement blessés (amputés ou autre). Cette tradition maintenant considérée comme barbare est en phase de disparaitre.
