Kaziranga is a vast expanse of tall elephant grass, marshland, and dense tropical moist broadleaf forests, criss-crossed by four major rivers, including the Brahmaputra, and the park includes numerous small bodies of water. Kaziranga has been the theme of several books, songs, and documentaries. The park celebrated its centennial in 2005 after its establishment in 1905 as a reserve forest. (Wikipedia)

One of the trails through the forests of Kaziranga. You never know what youll find around the bend - birds, wetlands or even rhinos and elephants. A most amazing place.

It's actually quite ironic that I admire reading since I don't read really much. :'D But all the books I have read have been fascinating adventures for me so I do understand why some people read every day!
Memories...another very special cat forever in my heart...gone but not forgotten.
His name is "Trini" and so named from his country of birth Trinidad & Tobago. My spouse rescued Trini as a kitten in a boat yard in Port of Spain, Trinidad while on a sail boating adventure in the Carribean and gave him a new life in Canada. He was Boo's special buddy until Spyder ventured into our backyard one day as a stray kitten.
Trini was Spyder's best friend and playmate. After Trini passed away, we welcomed Marley into our home as a buddy for Spyder. Marley shares some of Trini’s wonderful Tabby markings and oftentimes reminds me of Trini in appearance.

it is fascinating, that these always unpredictable bumble bees slow down in our lavender... they are different in color - next time I hope to show one with a red tail...
Taken at Uisge Ban Falls Provincial park, on Cape Breton Island, in Nova Scotia, Canada.
I didn't take this path, I took main trail to the waterfalls, but I can testify that the river you'd follow on this particular trail is incredibly beautiful.
The little fishing trawler rests on the shingle beach, ready for its next big adventure.

RKO_1331. Looking into the archives I came across this image, taken at Masai Mara some years ago! A real adventure flying in such small aircraft, even after a long carrier in airline business! Can't wait to return.....
