A fantastic adventure through his Majesty the Sahara desert begins from the first steps of a camel. From Merzouga, in Morocco, are departing daily an infinite number of expeditions, trips and caravans. Having been part of one, has been a true emotion and honor. Will you join me the next time?
Coming soon to RL.

Have a great day!
turn your magic on, to me she'd say
everything you want's a dream away
we are legends, every day
that's what she told him
I feel my heart beating
I feel my heart beneath my skin
I feel my heart beating
oh, you make me feel
like I'm alive again
alive again
oh, you make me feel
like I'm alive again
woo hoo (woo hoo)
said I can't go on, not in this way
I'm a dream, I die by light of day
gonna hold up half the sky and say
only I own me
I feel my ♬♪ heart beating ♬♪

I would like to tell a story of how very difficult it was to get to this place considering it is gorgeous, but actually it is quite straightforward. Wedge Pond is in the Kananaskis area of Alberta which is filled with wonderful sights.
One wants to arrive before sunrise and know where the sun will rise in the sky prior to arriving. That way the position chosen to set up will likely render the best result. Some call that previsualisation. I just say that I have been there before.
The toughest part of the trip is simply getting up long before sunrise. Then, getting on the road in the dark with breakfast in hand. Knowing the potential outcome and not having been there for four long years, filled the toughest part with anticipation and all part of the adventure. What I am really saying is that it is such an easy choice.
Kaziranga National Park is a national park in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts of the state of Assam, India. The park, which hosts two-thirds of the world's great one-horned rhinoceroses, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.[2] According to the census held in March 2018 which was jointly conducted by the Forest Department of the Government of Assam and some recognized wildlife NGOs, the rhino population in Kaziranga National Park is 2,613. Tengo el calor de la sangre que hierve
Brota el sudor del miedo que se pierde
Tengo la calma que no dice nada
Soy esa brisa que se hace más fuerte
Aunque las nubes se alejen
Y mi piel siga en sequía
Voy a llegar algún día
A destejer mi regreso
Tengo la tierra que cuida el camino
Tengo las ramas de un árbol sin verde
Soy quien protege la noche cansada
Tengo siluetas que vienen a verme

"Reading is the magic key that takes you where you want to be"
It's actually quite ironic that I admire reading since I don't read really much. :'D But all the books I have read have been fascinating adventures for me so I do understand why some people read every day!

it is fascinating, that these always unpredictable bumble bees slow down in our lavender... they are different in color - next time I hope to show one with a red tail...
Little Wattlebird (Anthochaera chrysoptera) juvenile
Sorry to post another image of a juvenile Wattlebird so soon. This little one had a big adventure yesterday afternoon. It had ventured out of the nest and wasn't sure how to get back. I was in the garden looking for insects when I heard it cheeping plaintively. It had made it down to the Jade plant. Mama was making quite a fuss and eventually coaxed it to hop from branch to branch until it was able to settle back in the nest. Its wings are not yet developed enough for it to be able to fly more than about 30 cm (12 inches) at a time.
This one is younger than the one in yesterday's image.

Adventure 11 has to go down as the most spectacular of our trips this year.
I was very grateful for the advice given by Mike Innes with regards to Dinorwic. The scale of this place is truly astounding and this shot is probably my favourite shot from 2016. The location is everything a landscape photographer would desire and we were lucky that we had some interesting weather to go with it.
Being only a year and a half it wasn't easy to convince him to stay still for the pic because he thinks it is all about him and of course he wanted his name on the bench as well. A lady we met on the trail said... and I quote, "What a beast!" And one guy almost sh*t himself due to the fact Rooster has quite a scary greeting but anyone who gets to know him says, "What a hambone" and ignores his silly bluff, although, I'm sure he'd protect me with his life. He was running free with some big dogs we met in the mountains. The girl asked me if I was sure I wanted him to play with her Leon because he plays really rough and I told her he hasn't met Rooster....they ended up being a good match leaving Rooster a tired and happy pup. The good news is he leaves the cats alone for the most part after two weeks of working with him. He also met his first black bear. I have been very busy with his training, kayaking, camping, rodeo and the endless weeding that goes along with a huge garden. The bugs are bad this year like I knew they would be. Hope your spring/summer is going great so far.
