Since our loyal followers seem to #like the #BarnHouse, I found a couple more #AnthonyVizzari photos. Here we see the connection between the all-modern #boardformed #concrete wing on the right, and the #rainscreen board-and-galvanized-flashing #barn wing on the left. It was very important to us to have the walls extend down into the soil with no transition, so it had a kind of #primal #archaeological connection with the site. The windows in the connecting #gallery link are aligned on opposite sides to allow this sight line grazing along the bedroom wing, through the gallery, and back out along the concrete wall of the garage studio wing.
