This manifest itself in various ways, such as exotifying the #LGBTQ movement here, referring to #Haifa has a model of co-existence and the vegan entrees in the #IDF. This street musician works to shine the veneer of this very thin layer of Israeli society, hoping that it never gets broken open and inspected. For when you take a deeper look at the street musicians here, you find that often times they are starving on the streets as a result of the Israeli economy of disparity, the segregation of #Palestinians into little ethnic enclaves that are denied basic services in places like Anata, Beit Hanina, and the Shufat Refugee camp.
