One of the major canals in England, Grand Union Canal’s main branch is 137 miles long, and runs from Birmingham to London builds up with the noise and busyness of the city, to the space and tranquility of the country, of the old ways of life mixed with new. The Canal navigates following the river and meanders up to Stoke Hammond. The landscape begins quite hilly with expansive woodland and then towards Soulbury flattens to reveal some very well maintained grounds.
