'The Dynamic Duo'

Providence & Worcester B40-8's #4004 and #4005 catch some afternoon sun front of the shop in Worcester, MA.

 

These two GE's were at one point some of the best locomotives on the roster, handling large and heavy trains with ease.

 

The 4004 was built for the NYS&W as their 4002, and the 4005 was built for the ATSF as their 561.
