School daze.....
Our CHEF for MIXMASTER CHALLENGE #40 is dsm8954. Our mission is to create a manipulated and/or digital art image that uses his ingredients. If you win this challenge, you will become the CHEF who chooses the recipe next time! See the details below in Rule #8.
CHEF dsm8954 says, "Many folks are very concerned about the future with all that is currently going on. If we could, it might be a good idea to freeze time to take stock of the situation. Well that’s what we’re going to do. Your assignment, if you decide to accept it, is this ..."
➤ Create a still life containing at least five items that make you happy.
➤ A photo of at least three of those items – set up and photographed in place by YOU – will form the basis of the still life. (Other items may be added digitally.)
➤ One object in your still life must include an image from your photostream (though none of the objects depicted in this image count as separate items in the still life). This can be added in setup or post processing.
➤ A grid of some sort should be integrated into your still life image (checkerboard, plaid pattern, honeycomb, chicken wire, whatever, but not simply parallel lines). This can also be done in setup or post processing.
➤ NO ELECTRONICS WITH SCREENS, including readout screens, like on a microwave. (Other kinds of electronics are okay.)
All of the items above are part of my memories from school days (or daze). I've spent most of my life in classrooms, first as a student from elementary school to a post graduate degree and later as a teacher. These memories make me happy...something to cherish as we are in the midst of making decisions about many things--especially the education of our children!
The photo attached to the clipboard is of a rural one-room schoolhouse taken by me and posted before on Flickr.
