This bell and the attached plaques have been engraved to honour those many companies and individuals who over the years of 1891-1979 were to make up the fabric of Coal Harbour's long history. As well, it is to remind the future generations of the self-contained, industrial marine community that developed on these shores from Vancouver's beginning.
