White-Clad Fool - A TuneFuel Special Edition - 2019 In Review (Info and Playlist in Description)
I am tired of this place, I hope people change
I need time to replace what I gave away
And my hopes, they are high, I must keep them small
Though I try to resist I still want it all
I see swimming pools and living rooms and aeroplanes
I see a little house on a hill and children's names
I see quiet nights poured over ice and Tanqueray
But everything is shattering and it's my mistake
Only fools fall for you, only fools
Only fools do what I do, only fools fall
Only fools fall for you, only fools
Only fools do what I do, only fools fall
Oh, our lives don't collide, I'm aware of this
We've got differences and impulses and your obsession with
The little things, you like stick, and I like aerosol
I don't give a fuck, I'm not giving up, I still want it all
I'm a fool because of you
So if you don't mind I'll walk that line
Stuck on the bridge between us
Grey areas and expectations
I'm not the one if we're honest
Only fools fall for you, oh they fall
---
I'm a Spotify Premium member, and today I found an e-mail that invited me to take a look at my year of music in one fancy multimedia style review. (I don't know if the experience is available to free Spotify users, it might be.)
As part of that review, Spotify offered me a custom playlist that includes my Top 100 songs from 2019. The songs I played the most, the songs I enjoyed the most. Some because they lifted me up, others because they got stuck in my head, and others still because they helped me through something
The song above was my #1 for 2019! But guess what? I discovered that I could make the whole playlist public.
So here you go: Gavin's Top Songs 2019, according to my Spotify listening history. One hundred songs, six hours of tunes.
The playlist is set up in order from #1 to #100. Something to keep in mind if you listen on shuffle.
This is a Spotify-only playlist, sorry folks. I'm not going to compile a 100-song playlist on YouTube.
