flower mound construction site

22/365: lot 20.

“the price of anything is the amount of life you exchange for it.” – Thoreau

here sits lot 20 of a new housing development.

a lot which used to be abundantly filled with beautiful old oak trees, meandering cows and donkeys.

it used to be a peaceful place of serenity, nature and of life.

trees which used to be habitats to birds and squirrels, landscape of fields which used to house wildlife and nature.

.. now destroyed for what? how much life is this over indulgence worth?

will you miss it when it is gone?

Photo taken with my Nikon D810, Nikkor 14-24mm and Lee Filters Big Stopper and Circular Polarizer for an exposure time of 64 seconds at f/11, ISO 31 – 14mm.
