This pedestrian bridge in Erindale park spans the Credit River. It has an interesting structure but also the metal work was never painted and has a rich patina of rust. In the right light it can be quite interesting.

This was another sighting of a wild Northern Saw-Whet owl which I had not seen for 5 years. 2017 was an exceptional year for owl sightings but 2018 is not turning out to be the same. But the year is still young! Taken in a park in Calgary, Alberta.
Thank you for your visit and comments. They are very much appreciated.
Took too long setting this shot up. He was standing on that rock juggling three coloured balls riding a unicycle singing 'hello my baby hello my darling hello my ragtime girl'. I ran out to get my camera and when I returned this was all I got.
My dear flickr buddies, I decided I need a Flickr summer break. I try to spend less time on Flickr while the weather is so good, make sports, read some books, go swim ...... I try to give you some stars from time to time and will be back in October. Thank you all for your kind comments, favorites and feedback, you are a source of great wonder, pleasure and entertainment. I wish you all a great and relaxed time! ZZZZZZ
I love my R5. This one is at ISO 12,800. I did see some large bands that I had to desaturate to make them disappear.
