La ciudad de Zúrich, un centro bancario y financiero global, se encuentra al norte del lago de Zúrich en el norte de Suiza. Las pintorescas avenidas de la Altstadt (ciudad antigua) central, a cada lado del río Limago, reflejan su historia premedieval. Los paseos costeros, como el Limmatquai, siguen el río hacia el ayuntamiento Rathaus del siglo XVII.
The city of Zurich, a global banking and financial center, is located north of Lake Zurich in northern Switzerland. The picturesque avenues of the central Altstadt (old town), on each side of the Limago River, reflect its pre-medieval history. Coastal walks, such as the Limmatquai, follow the river to the 17th-century Rathaus town hall.

Die Kirche mit Frauenkloster wurde 853 von König Ludwig dem Deutschen gestiftet und von Frauen des süddeutschen Hochadels bewohnt.
Sie genoss die Gunst von Königen und hatte das Münzrecht von Zürich bis ins 13. Jh.
Nach der Reformation kamen Kirche und Kloster in den Besitz der Stadt.
In der Kirche darf man leider nicht fotografieren und ich kann nicht zeigen sehr schöne Kirchenfenster von Giacometti und Marc Chagall.

I spotted this White Squirrel on top of a telephone pole in the small village of Zurich, yesterday. Zurich, has a small population of true White Squirrels. ( only 3-4 ) Where as the town of Exeter ,know as," the Home of the White Squirrel" has a population of over 50 White Squirrels.
