I used to have a cactus and succulent garden. This flower is 1" in diameter. Yes, it's an old photo, but it's the most incredible star I know.

It's easy to dismiss petunias. Their name sounds rather silly, at least in English. (pe TOON ya) There's Harry Potter's Aunt Petunia and Petunia, the skunk, in Bambi. But, apparently, petunias are edible and are native to South America...I like to plant purple petunias because they smell like vanilla.
Was hoping for some sun this morning - had to take my tc off to get a half decent shot at high tide on the Parrett.
