and no car show in the area...

I usually get these ideas when I'm around the house with nothing to shoot. I've been stuck and fascinated with film cameras ever since I started loving photography, but never wanted to go through the hassle of having to print, etc. It is so much nicer to be on film because it involves you to think before taking that perfect shot, rather than holding that 8fps shutter until you achieve something you like. Not the best film in the world, but it'd do its job. Kodak 200 ISO film, 24 exposures.. all ruined for a fun experience.
The film itself was ruined the second I took it out, but other than that, the dog was also a major reason why. First thing he saw it, he took it and hid it off somewhere far off. Only later did I hear him throwing it around and around, looking as if it was the best "toy" in the world.
Saturday or Sunday is my long departure day to Florida, where I'll hopefully have some better shots. If all goes well, tomorrow's shoot will consist of a Corvette Zo6 :)
In other regards, I'm in desperate needs of a strong, almost black ND filter to take some REALLY long night-time exposures.. anywhere in the 10 minute and up range. Something I couldn't do now or else the whole image would come out.. you guessed it, white.
Hoya 52mm Neutral Density Filter.
I would get it in the 70+ mm range, but I don't have such lenses at this time. Plus, it'd be so much more expensive.
