La E494-254 "Mazinga Zeta" di GTS Rail transita velocemente a Casalbordino con un intermodale proveniente da Piacenza e diretto a Bari Lamasinata, qui nei pressi del torrente Sinello in prossimità del ponte del vecchio tracciato ferroviario con lo splendido sfondo delle acque dell'Adriatico.

✨🇨🇭 Au cœur du parc national Suisse dans le canton des Grisons, la qualité du ciel nocturne est censée être à un niveau de pureté que je n'avais encore jamais vu. Sur les cartes de pollution lumineuse, certains endroits du parc sont classés très proche du Bortle 2, notamment près des sommets. Ça a donc de quoi promettre en astrophoto, me reste plus qu'à trouver un spot là bas 😁.

Le repérage se fait en journée. Le temps est superbe. Avec @amande.sen on décide de se faire une rando de 10km à travers le Parc pour que je puisse trouver le spot idéal. Après quelques kilomètres d'ascension, on passe le long d'un court d'eau. Le débit est important car on aperçoit encore de la neige quelques centaines de mètres plus haut en altitude qui fond rapidement à cause du soleil. Je décide de faire ma photo ici mais l'axe de la rivière ne correspond pas totalement avec l'axe sud de la Voie Lactée. Mais en continuant un peu, la chance me sourit car la rivière tourne en pointant le sud ! On fini notre balade tranquillement en notant bien cet endroit pour faire ma photo.

Finalement, n'étant pas encore assez haut en altitude, le lieu est classé en un bon Bortle 3. Malheureusement, les grosses villes italiennes présentes au sud laisse apparaître une pollution bien visible sur l'horizon. Zeta Ophiuchi apparaît avec un niveau de détails que j'avais jamais eu 🔴 !

4x120s iso1600 f/3.2 pour le ciel (suivi/empilé)
Le tout comme d'habitude en conservant l'alignement original.
Encore avec mon combo préféré Canon 6Da + Sigma 24mm f/1.4.

Greetings everyone! After a couple of months work I am proud to present my minifigure scale Zeta-class cargo shuttle.

Ever since Rogue One introduced the design, the industrial mining tug aesthetic appealed to me. It has the kit-bashed sensibility that I love in Star Wars, so I set about a UCS sized build.
The lower cargo deck has space for troops and features a communications patch bay. I’m still working on finishing touches to the upper deck, but it houses the two seat command console and aft tech station.
The gearing mechanism from 10212 locks the wings upright. By simply lifting the top deck away I can adjust the angle if required. The wingspan measures 1.15m, so I have yet to find space to photograph the wings in flight mode!
During construction I used LDD for rapid prototyping. I still need to update the final build into the program, but the current ballpark is 4000 pieces.
The Rogue One ultimate visual guide and Battlefront Scarif DLC were invaluable for determining the proportions.
My personal technique for ‘minifigure scale’ is to calculate in-universe size against stud length. Small craft like speeders and skimmers skew towards 4.0s/m, starfighters 3.5s/m and large craft (e.g. UCS Slave 1 and Lambda shuttle) at 2.7s/m.
Therefore I aimed for 92s long and 75s high. The final model measures 88s (l) 70s (h) 48s (w) / 70cm (l) 56cm (h) 38cm (w).
Finally I threw together a Scarif landing pad for a diorama.

Het artiestenpaar SOGOSHOW heeft de gevel van Zeta onder handen genomen. In de zomer is er helaas maar weinig van te zin. Nu de blaadjes zijn gevallen kunnen we er weer van genieten.
De Grote Markt, vroeger een tochtige bushalte, is nu een bruisend horecaplein met veel evenementen en festivals. De uitgaansplek voor de Hagenees.
