In Venezuelan folklore La Sayona was married happily to her husband and had a small child. She heard an untrue rumour her husband was unfaithful with her own mother. Finding him asleep at her mothers she burned down the house killing him and her child. As her mother lay dying she cursed La Sayona to punish unfaithful men. She is said to have the upper body of a skeleton which she reveals before she kills the unfaithful.
For the mythical creatures exhibit opening in a few weeks or so. This is Kitsune also known as kumiho or Huli Jing. They are shape shifters who, as they age, gain more tails up to nine.

The Jarogumo is a creature from Japanese folklore. When it reaches 400 years old it will begin to prey on humans rather than insects. It lures young men to her home by shapeshifting into a beautiful woman playing music. As they listen they are wrapped in webs by tiny spiders that she controls. Jarogumo are intelligent and cold hearted seeing humans as mere food. They will live in abandoned houses, even in busy cities, and kill any who become suspicious of them.

The medusa was a beautiful woman who was followed and raped by Poseidon in a temple to Athena. Athena was offended and cursed the medusa so her hair became snakes, her lower body a serpent and her gaze would turn all to stone. I depicted her as a sad and lonely victim rather than a monster. Perseus beheaded her with Athena putting the head on her shield. Beautifully though, the Pegasus was born from her severed neck which I like to think was her spirit.

The Ogopogo
This Canadian creature of folklore is an elusive, shy and polite water spirit. It has a head similar to an otter and a long serpent-like body. Along its body are found many flippers or fins that help propel it through the water. Its tail can create fierce storms and should you kill one then your descendants will be cursed to never die comfortably in bed. The Ogopogo can shapeshift into an old umbrella caught in a rope with a boot or other debris meant to create skeptics.

Been practicing my sculpting a little and wanted to share one of the projects I just did in an attempt to continue getting more comfortable in Zbrush. I really struggle with base models at the onset of a project, and you can see it here too -- donkey anyone? Haha. Hope you enjoy!
Chokers, Bodysuit, and Wrapped Heels include large customization HUDs.
All items are fitted mesh for the Maitreya mesh body, with the exception of the wings. The Valkyrie Wings (with 10 color HUD) are non-rigged, so they are not animated, but can be worn with any body. :)
The wrist ties include a tied up pose (shown in top right image.)
