Sandpiper Air, Cessna 185 at Pat Bay Float Terminal.YYJ The seals on the breakwater are soaking up the sunshine and do not care about this "bird".
I was just inside the cargo bays unloading and loading baggage then cleaning the cabin of this plane before I took this photo. The stewardess were trying to convince me to come along for a free round trip to Cancun on this flight! Too bad I have more work and several flights booked...next time.
Photo is cropped because 300mm isn't enough zoom.

Recently I organized a fairly successful gallery showcase of local concert photographers here're in Victoria, BC on January 24th/25th, 2014 at Al Smith's Studio.
Al Smith and Teresa Lindsay of Vic42 were kind enough to support me through the entire endeavour including donating me this space.
It wouldn't have been possible without the amazing photograph and music communities here in Victoria.
Thank You!

The plans consist of over one hundred pages of typewritten instructions and dimensioned drawings. After Bowers' death in 2003 the plans were unavailable for a time, but starting in 2007 they were back on the market, sold by the Bowers family.

Completed in January 1924, the Johnson Street Bridge was designed by the Strauss Bascule Company Limited, which later went on to design the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. When built, the bridge originally had street car rails running down the center of the road span, but they were never used and were removed a few years later. The original wood deck was replaced by a steel grid in 1966 and the steel structure was repainted in 1979 as part of an extensive renovation. Also nicknamed the Blue Bridge, it is slated for demolition and replacement by 2016.
Nice to see a familiar face again! XA-VIV operated the majority of the VivaAerobus flights last year. Here it is returning to Victoria from Puerto Vallarta as VIV7940. Interestingly enough, this was the first time I heard YYJ tower call them "Aeroenlaces 940" instead of the usual "Aeroenlaces 7940".
