Before the medieval period mermaids were seen by many cultures around the world as terrifying, scary beings. Sailors originally described them as a complete fish body with a human or monster heads until eventually they evolved into beautiful sirens luring men to their doom. Some people have linked the mysterious Oarfish to these legends which adds to the overall fascination with mermaids into the 21st century.

Get dressed for battle, or maybe just reveal your inner peacock. FOE have made some proper plate armour for the arms and legs with fantastic finishing details, including spurs and codpiece. The feet are historically accurate (flat) rather than having anime heels and the included colour hud has some awesome metals to choose from. I recommend Hotdog's 'Gentile Doublet' to match which the armour (for me, anyway) fitted over perfectly.
My Teegle is currently a Kirin and the new Ghostmare skin set from AURO instantly gave him a full fantasy vibe and to finish on skins the new Jason from Stray Dog is perfect for RPers of all genres, grab a demo from Man Cave to check it out.

Diva is an applier HUD for Aii's Riptide tail. It features custom unique scales and a fully re-drawn alpha waist. The colors are inspired by some of my favorite divas - can you guess who they are?
Each HUD comes with alpha hiders to customize your look further. You can set fins to mask or blend to push the Diva look or have it be more subtle. Experiment with both blend and mask to create a unique look!
Diva is built on the Alienwaves. system so it is compatible with any tail that already has their scripts loaded in. If you own tails from other designers on the system- this HUD will work right out of the box. Fantasy Faire 2025 has come to its end... So sad and already looking forward to next year ! This year my ultimate favorite sim was from Static ! She build something amazing ! Everything was fun and amazing but yesh she took my breath away ! So my last picture for the faire this year is on Yuum Baalal Grotto. So its a goodbye and not a Farwell.. See you in 2026 !

It wouldn't be Fantasy Faire without making at least one new friend.
Normally, in Second Life, I spend my time hovering on my sky platform or in my garden taking pictures. I enjoy the peaceful times in my own company, letting creativity flow and the worries and responsibilities of real life drift away for a while.
But, when Fantasy Faire hits, I always look forward to meeting like minded, fantasy loving people. I love people watching and appreciating the creativity that others put into their fantasy characters and always try to say hello and express my appreciation of their efforts. If I come away with a new friend or two, thats a bonus.
This is PurpDerp! We met at the Pixiedust Region last weekend where I was working on a picture. We spent some time talking and sharing and exploring together. We then worked on this picture at the Yuum Baalal Grotto region together! Such fun!
Fantasy Faire really is the best time in Second Life, for so many reasons ♥

Swimming into the cavern- all he could see at first was....light - beams of glowing green radiating in all directions from a central pillar in the middle of the sunken chamber.
Once his eyes adjusted, he could make out the form of a small mirror - resting there with a kind of quiet buzzing energy.
'How strange..' he murmured to himself, bubbles rising from his lips as he kicked the thick stale water around his fins.
There was no telling what he experienced next, as the merman picked up the mirror and held it skyward - staring deep into his hazy reflection.
What secrets does it hold?

Mirror is an original mesh accessory with left + right hold options as well as a decor version.
When you click the mirror, it makes a small magical sound effect and emits an electrifying small particle effect before changing the pose.
Each pose is Priority 7, so you can use it with your current AO.
Single versions contain a texture hud that change the pearls, mirror face, accents, and bindings - while the Fatpack contains all of the above + the mirror frame and handle.
