Mama Common Yellowthroat was leading several younglings around the tall grasses to learn how to hunt for food.
Timbers are adult male dryads, once they grow out of the Splinter age. Slower than the agile younglings, they march through the forest in order to watch out for undesired disturbances.
The shadows cloak all but the Sith's glowing yellow eyes. A hum thrums beneath the cold creaking of the battlestation.
A Padawan and her droid stand at the ready, lightsaber drawn and pointed at the Sith Lady. "You won't escape this place, Talon" she says stoically.
A cold, almost mechanical cackle fractures the monotony. "Escape? Why would I need to escape?" The crackle of her blood red lightsaber igniting sending the Padawans hairs standing on end.
In a flash the Sith Lady slides inside of the Padawans defenses, batting the new lightsaber away. Her hand clenches into a fist as the droid is crumpled like a small ball of paper and the heel of her boot sends the youngling reeling.
The Padawan can't believe what's happening before her, barely able to breath from the heavy blow to her chest. She tries to reach for her lightsaber...
The Dark Lady tosses the droid aside like a plaything as her wrist snaps and the Padawan is jerked to a halt mid-air. Slowly the Sith pulls the subdued Jedi closer.
"You bring these... toys. Trinkets of technology, playthings for children. You insult me with such..."
She glances at the scrap that used to be the droid.
"cheap imitations."
As her saber draws back, she looks upon the Jedi with feral anticipation and the ferocity of a Rancor. "A true master needs not such things, and a True Master... you have found. Today, we change the story."
The Padawan can only quietly accept her fate, as the darkness approaches and then is abruptly shattered with a bright red flash and sinister laugh...

Star Wars - "Uncertain ways"
Chapter 1 – „The gangs of Coruscant“
Part 4 – Jedi meeting
Satisfied about her catch and with the certain knowledge of the fact that the Rodian was going to spend a lot of time in a prison cell, Jona strolled back to the elevator. She tipped the code into the panel and started thinking about dinner, as the elevator fastly ascended to the higher levles of the temple. It was just at about 1st floor when she suddenly remembered the group meeting her master told her to attend. A quick look at the chrono confirmed her fear. She was too late. That was not a good impression to leave, really. Even before the elevator had opened its door completely Jona already sprinted down the corridor. Pushing some scared younglings aside, she finally made it to the meeting room. Visably exhausted she leaned at the door frame and struggled to listen attentively to Master Amandis , who was lecturing about something. Her own master, Plohar Marogon, was standing in the middle of the gathered Jedi and was holding a small, blue shimmering holocron in his hands. „...and as Master Marogon already mentioned, this Holocron also bears the plans of a Jedi enclave of yet unknown location. We have to thank our two Knights Resala Habor and Kiran Trambers for bringing this valuable artifact to the temple. A research team will soon analyse the holocron and locate the enclave. For now Master Marogon will bring it to the archives. Now, there are other important matters to discuss...“,Master Amandis continued his talk. „One question Master,“,a Padawan, who Jona had not seen before stood up and said. „How is it possible that we can’t locate the enclave ? Why is it not in our archives ? Shouldn’t one of the plans stored here match the plan on the holocron ?“. „Surely, Padawan Koris, do you know about the history of our order. We may have survived several wars and inner conflicts, but stone and metal are not as resistant. Enclaves may be destroyed and information lost.“, Master Amandis said in a low, resonable voice. Padawan Koris, a few seconds ago totally determined and full of himself, suddenly went all red and sat down. „Pardon my interuption, Master.“, he said, visibly sorry. Jona was once again amazed by the impact a few words could have. The meeting continued and Jona got distracted by the thought of Roba sausages again.

Star Wars - "Uncertain ways"
Chapter 1 – „The gangs of Coruscant“
Part 6 – Of missions, doubts and Roba sausages
When Jona finally reached her favorite canteen, located at the higher levles of the temple, she already saw her friends Caileta and Ahm sitting at one of the tables. She walked over to the counter, peripherically noticing Lyle sitting alone at another table. She was strangely satisfied, seeing that he was eating alone, with a grim expression on his face. Those emotions were not appropriate for a Jedi, but Jona couldn’t help it. She just disliked this boy. She ordered the long anticipated Roba sausages, her favorite meal, and impatiently waited for the waiter handing it over to her. That could take quite a while, since the canteen was run by civilian and Jedi personel alike. While the employees did their job well, the Jedi, especially the Padawans, struggled to deliver the orders on time, since they kept chatting with their hungry mates on the other side of the counter.. When Jona received her food, she quickly walked over to Caileta and Ahm. „Hey Jona !“ Caileta greeted her. „Had a successful day ?“ Ahm asked. „Yes, certainly,“ Jona replied,“we caught the Rodain smugglers we were looking for !“. „Good work ! That mission took long enough. I bet you had a fun time when they fought back ?“ Ahm exclaimed. „No, they were as frightened as always. Just imagine, they were sitting in a room full of high tech weapons and didn’t even try !“ Jona laughed. Even though she still was a bit angry about the fact that she wouldn’t face the trials soon, she enjoyed the company of her friends. „So, what’s next ?“ Caileta asked, she wasn’t the kind of funny person, or at least it always took a while to make her laugh. „I don’t know, really“ Jona answered, „Since I won’t be facing the trials soon, I don’t really have a plan.“ She tried to be positive and joke about it a bit. That mostly worked for her. „Well, I’ll be going on a mission soon, and my Master said that it would be off Coruscant, maybe in the outer rim.“ Ahm said. Oh, well, her friend s always seemed to get what she actually wanted. For a moment she wondered though, why would Ahm, who was strong in the force and most likely next up to face the trials, going on a mission like this ? His master was a council member and one of the most powerful jedi in the order. Didn’t her master say, that an experienced team wouldn’t be needed right now ? „Me too,“ Caileta suddenly woke Jona from her thoughts,“ but we won’t be leaving just yet. Master Amandis said he would have me practice some extra sword fighting techniques first.“ Caileta was really lucky. Master Amandis, certainly the most well liked master of the order and a hero for any youngling or Padawan had chosen her as his aprentice at the time. In fact the three of them formed an elite within the elite, since they were all Padawans of council members. That was most likely also the reason for them to despise Lyle even more. He was an ordinary Padawan of an ordinary master. Once again, these thoughts were not appropriate for a Jedi, but still very present in Jona’s mind. Having nothing to add, Jona turned to her plate and took the first bite of the roba sausages. They tasted even better than in her imagination. She took a look around, quickly getting distracted by Lyle, who she could see from her place. What was this guy thinking right now ? Lyle was still sitting alone at a table for four. Noone bothered to share his company. His grim expression and his habit of eating quickly, which Jona had noticed several times before, seemed to scare off everyone. He always was cheerful when he had enough people around and was working on something mechanical but whenever Jona saw him alone and apparently lost in thought, he seemed more serious. Or maybe he just missed his audience. Yes, that had to be it. Jona turned to her plate again, listening to Ahm speculating about his mission and expressing his doubts about his skills. Somehow he was never that self assured as Jona or Caileta. Still he was a most skilled and perfectly educated Padawan and most likely the first one of them to face the trials. Jona couldn’t understand his doubts. She never had any and hopefully never would...

One of the best builds for Uncertain ways so far, in my opinion. I love building Star Wars every day life ! It took me quite a while and quite some reasearch to design the Jedi canteen. The photos were quite difficult to take, too. I hope you like the new characters that I introduced here. I certainly do. The next part is already completed, too. Stay tuned for more photos of this part aswell.
Almost the last shott of the recent Uncertain ways part. There is only one more to come.
So, my internship started today and it was quite interesting so far ! I am really looking foreward to what is to come !

Well, the weather was once again Bobbins here in England...dull, grey and wet...but I still managed to get out and capture these lil guys, so well worth the trip..Unfortunately it was far too dark to capture any decent shots of the Tigers....so BigCatlover can rest in peace for now..lol..:O))
I hope your all having an awesome Sunday, whatever the weather...:O)))
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ~ The Dhole (Cuon alpinus), also known as the Asiatic Wild Dog, Indian Wild Dog or Red Dog is a mammal of the order Carnivora, and the only member of the genus Cuon.
Description ~ The Dhole bears many physical similarities to the African Wild Dog and the Bush Dog, most notably in the redundancy of the post-carnassial molars, though whether this is an example of convergence or close relationship is a matter of debate.
The Dhole typically weighs 12-20 kilograms (26-44 pounds) and measures 90 centimeters (35 inches) in body length and 50 centimeters (20 inches) shoulder height. The tail measures 40-45 centimeters (16-18 inches) in length. There is little sexual dimorphism. The Dhole has a broad, domed skull and a short, broad muzzle. The bones of the forehead and upper jaw are "swollen", producing a dish-faced profile. The hooded eyes have amber or light brown irises, and the ears are large and rounded.
The pelage of the back and flanks is red to brown in colour, while the foreneck, chest and undersides are white or lightly gingered. The fur of specimens from southern ranges is typically short and rusty red, while that of more northern subspecies is longer and more yellow or brown in colour. Dholes from Thailand are more uniform brown, and lack the typical lighter throat and chest, while those from Himalayan regions have more yellowish fur.
Dhole dentition is unique among canids, by the fact that it has one fewer lower molars, amounting to 40 teeth rather than the more usual 42 of other species. Its lower carnassials also sport only one cusp (two is more usual for canids) an adaptation thought to improve shearing ability, thus allowing it to compete more successfully with kleptoparasites. Its front pawpads are fused at the base. Females have 6-7 pairs of mammae, as opposed to the more usual five present in other canid species. The chromosome number is 2n = 78.
Reproduction ~ Sexual dimorphism is not very distinct with no quantitative anatomical differences known. Both males and females become sexually active at one year old, though females usually breed at 2 years in captivity, and in the wild, for the first time at 3 years, possibly due to physiological and behavioural restraints. Females exhibit seasonal polyoestrus, with a cycle of around 4-6 weeks. Pups are born throughout the end of fall, winter, and the first spring months ( November - March ) - dens are earthen burrows, or are constructed amongst rocks and boulder structures, in rocky caverns, or close to streambeds. In East Java, the Dhole is thought to mate mainly between January and May. Unlike some other canid species, the Dhole does not engage in a copulatory tie when mating. Also, mating is not as restricted to certain individuals as it is in wolf packs, in which usually only the dominant pair can breed.
After a gestation period of around 60-62 days, females usually give birth to about eight pups (though the range is 5-10, the record is 12, and sizes vary drastically within the same pack through different years), which weigh 200-350g. Dhole growth rate is faster than that of wolves, being similar in length to that of the coyote. At 10 days their body weight has doubled, and body length is 340mm. Pups are weaned between 6 and 9 weeks. In captivity, weaning is sometimes recorded later on in the range. By 8 weeks, younglings are less quarrelsome and aggressive, and more vigilant. At three months litters go on hunts, though the pack may not be fully mobile until eight months. Young reach sexual maturity at about a year, and full adult size at 15 months.
After birth, a few other adults will help to feed the young of the dominant pair. The pups, as early as the age of three weeks, and the mother are fed regurgitated meat. When lone females breed, rearing the litters only results in limited success.
Diseases ~ Dholes are in danger of catching infectious diseases when they come in contact with other animals, especially canines – including feral and domestic dogs. They have been known to suffer from mange, canine distemper, and trypanosomiasis. Canine parvovirus was recorded in Dhole populations in Hodenhagen, Germany and Chennai, India zoos. Sporadically, the Dhole is a health risk for human beings, since their excreta contain transmittable pathogens (e.g. Toxocara canis). Dhole waste has also been found to contain roundworm, cestodes, and other endoparasites. Like other canines, the Dhole can catch rabies; in the 1940s, rabid Dholes bit and infected villagers in the Biligirirangan Hills in India.

Probably my last set of these Red-necked Grebes for the season. I included three more photos in the comment box. Enjoy!
The last two crew members came sprinting down the hallway towards the escape pods. Good, everything was going according to plan. „Shut the door, T3.“ The droid turned around with a beeping noise and sealed the hatch. Now she just had to wait. The republic frigate she was on had been followed by an unidentified vessel since they had left Telos. She was absolutely sure it had to be a Sith killer commando, judging by the precision of the tracking and the carefully kept distance just out of scanner range. Of course, no scanner could beat the Force and she had sensed the imminent danger since their takeoff. Now the Sith had finally decided to show themselves and attack. Right now, they were entering the frigate, thinking that it had taken severe damage in battle. She knew they were coming for her and the younglings they had taken on board earlier on their voyage. She knew she could not hide from them and a fight was inevitable. This was not a last stand, however, this was a trap. As soon as the crew left the ship in the escape pods and the Sith were occupied with fighting her, another republic ship would emerge from hyperspace, take the crew on board and bring not only soldiers from the republic garrison as reinforcements, but also a dozen of Jedi to stop the Sith dead in their tracks. Right then, she heard the buzzing sound of an igniting lightsaber. It was time to fight!

The last photo of the recent Uncertain ways part.
Again, I want to thank everyone for the huge support, I've gotten recently. This MoC is now my most faved build. I never thought Uncertain ways would get that much attention. You can be sure I will work even harder on it now ;)
However for now, there will be a little pause of Uncertain Ways, due to my internship and general lack of time. Still, there will be new uploades, mostly drones, as mentioned before. I will try to build a new Uncertain Ways part as soon as possible, I promise !
Again, thank you for your support and patience !
Star Wars - "Uncertain ways"
Chapter 1 - „The Gangs of Coruscant“
Part 2 – At the temple
As Jona arrived at the temple, her master had already proceeded to the prison cells with the two Rodians. Jona landed her speeder at one of the landing bays, located at the top of the temple. The Rodian beside her had not said a word yet, but as all ordinary people who visited the temple, he was impressed. She could sense it. She could also sense something else. The Rodian seemed quite happy. Since he was going to spend a lot of time in a prison cell, Jona had expected him to be a bit worried at least. She decided to no longer think about it and set the speeder on the ground. The Rodian glanced at the nearby speederbike, which was currently repaired by two Jedi. „Don’t even think about it !“, Jona said harshly. The Rodian didn’t answer. „Hey, Jona !“ She turned around just to see a boy grinning at her. It was Lyle Keteris, one of her fellow younglings from the early training. Just as Jona herself, he had been chosen as a apprentice by a master. He was just barely seen together with his master, though. Most of the time he was working on the vehicles at the landing platforms or hangar bays. „Have you found a new friend ? I didn’t know you like green skin that much !“, yelled Lyle and laughed. „At least I get to do something outside the temple !“, Jona replied angrily. This boy always annoyed her. She proceded to the entrance of the temple, still hearing Lyle‘s laugh.

The second part of "Uncertain ways" The photo did not exactly turn out as I wanted it to, but it's good enough. The main thing I wanted to achieve was the focus on Jona and the Rodian. I think that worked well. Photos of Jona's speeder and the speederbike will be up soon.
My friend kindly alerted me to the first cygnet hatching from the new swan couple we have on the Union Canal at Fountainbridge. There was no sign of the babies last night when I passed, so this all happened in the last few hours.
I was off today, so headed up to see the first new arrival, and met some friends there already, watching. There were some suggestions that the first born could be named "Attenborough" after Sir David Attenborough, who is celebrating his 99th birthday this very day, which I think would be a splendid name!
I took some picks of little Attenborough, nestled between Mama and Papa Swan in the nest, then it started to move to the back of the nest, and we realised another egg was cracking. As we watched Attenborough then Mama pecked at the eggshell as if trying to help, and this tiny little baby swan started to emerge from its egg.
I've taken photos of the swans and cygnets from the previous breding couple over the years, but I have never been fortunate enough to see one of the younglings hatching. What a remarkable, beautiful and magical lttle miracle to witness!
These last few pics in this sequence are literally capturing the first few moments of this new life on our planet, and that's just mind-blowing to me to be able to witness it, capture it and share it.

A symphony of body and heart.
Ssek: Mira......
The unconscious young padawan laid face down on the ground without even a twitch from the first call to her.
Ssek: Mira.....
The second was far more effective. This time there could be no mistake, the padawan heard her name being called. Not the false alias she now went by to cover he tracks, her real name. Mira Rumesk. One of the few Jedi to escape Operation Knightfall, the mission led by the fallen Jedi, Anakin Skywalker, to exterminate the inhabitants of the Jedi temple.
As the young padawan awoke, she found herself in her former Jedi robes. The safe robes she'd been forced to burn to cover her tracks.
Ssek: Mira....
Mira: Master?....Is.....is that you?
Whilst taking a few moments to observe her surrounding, the former Jedi can't help but wonder if this is the cosmic force she heard so much about. Where all living beings go when their life comes to an end. Was that why she could see her master stood before her?
Ssek: Mira....the balance....
Mira: What balance master?
Ssek: The force. It is unbalanced.
Mira: From what? The return of the Sith? The decimation of the Jedi?
Ssek: No.....
Mira: Then from what!?
In a brief moment, Mira couldn't help but cry out in anger at this apparent vision of her master before her. Ssek had ordered her to run when the first wave of the 501st legion stormed the Jedi temple that night on Coruscant, whilst promising to be right behind her. It wouldn't be until she returned weeks later that she'd realise that he'd stayed to fight. Stayed, to protect the younglings.
All in vain.
The newly appointed Darth Vader had spared none who stayed to defend the temple. Masters, knight....even younglings. No-one escaped the Dark Lord's wrath.
Ssek: From you.
Mira: Me!?
Ssek: There is a great imbalance in you, child. Your obsession with the one called Vader blinded your vision, and it cost you dearly.
Mira: I sought only to avenge you, master.
Ssek: Revenge, is not the way of the Jedi.
After a long protracted pause where the disillusioned padawan debates her response, she finally decides to say what's truly on her mind.
Mira: The Jedi are all but extinct. Perhaps if we're to survive, we must embrace the methods we have attempted to avoid.
Ssek: That is the path of the Sith. In the end, it will destroy you. Just as it destroyed Skywalker.
Mira: And Palpatine? He sits on a throne at Coruscant, overlooking an Empire that's slowly attempting to control the entire galaxy! Had we fought him with the full power of the force it'd be us that control it all, not him.
Ssek: And in the end, we'd destroy ourselves. Just as the Sith did millennia ago, before the time of Bane.
Mira: But what if we've been doing this wrong all along, Master? What if the only way to defeat the Sith is to use their own power against them?
Ssek: Just as they did to us during the Clone War.
Mira: It'd be different.
Ssek: Delving into the darkness to destroy the darkness, whether with good intentions or not, merely ensures its survival.
Mira: But surely it's for the greater good that the Sith are destroyed!
Ssek: Perhaps. Perhaps not. In many regards, it was for the greater good that most of the Jedi were destroyed.
There's a long pause as Mira is shocked to hear her master make such a suggestion.
Mira: How can you say that?
Ssek: For decades, the Jedi were unable to see through the force. The imbalance caused by our vast numbers, blinded our sight. But now, the future is clear.
Mira: But I still see nothing.
Ssek: Your vision remains clouded, because your imbalance blinds you. Have hope, my apprentice. Things may seem dark. But in time, a new hope will emerge.
Mira: Hope? What hope? Master?
Thal: Mira? Are you still with me?
As the surroundings begin to fade out and the outline of her master disappears, the distraught Mira can't help but call out one last time in desperation, either out of hope, or out of desperation.
Mira: MASTER!

Had fun photographing this individual . . . a nice break from macrolympics (a term I use to describe high magnification images that require a lot of perspiration). This one made funny, side-to-side swaying movements--I think to gauge the objective's distance--in preparation for a jump. The youngling bounded away not long after I tripped the shutter.

The story:
“Could you hurry for once?” Moor was standing at the door, clenching her suitcase impatiently. “We gonna miss the train.”
“I can’t believe we are even taking the train! What are we, humans?!” Mercy was pouting. She couldn’t decide what outfit to pack.
“You were human just 10 years ago, girl. Chill. Can you fly? No. Can you turn into a bat? No. So pack that clothes already, and be grateful that you’re going.” Moor rolled her eyes. It was a big deal to be invited as a representative of your tribe. Ungrateful younglings….
“Yeah, that I’m going… to see Dorian! I know it’s one of his stupid plots. And I have to obey, because he is Mr Royalty and he decided I should come.” The clothes started flying out of the closet while the rant continued.
Why did she have so much clothes? Moor wasn’t sure if she was annoyed or amused.
“Well, if you hate him so much, why are you picking and arranging your outfits since this morning!? You’re not going to a fashion show. I think you’re just upset he dumped you for another chick.”
All of a sudden, the tidal wave of clothes stopped. A pair or red eyes peeked out of the closet. They became two burning red slits.
“Oh okay, shooting arrows!” Moor laughed. Love issues. Always so much fun… What Mercy didn’t know, not only Dorian would be there… but he requested all of his former girlfriends to show up for the occasion. That guy… always creating drama. The meeting was serious business, not a reality TV… but with him, drama was inevitable.
This was a baby camel whining for its mother. She returned to the settlement at sunset and nursed the youngling.
"CAN YOU ALL JUST WAIT ONE MINUTE !! I'VE ONLY GOT 8 LEGS !!"

ALL THIS MOTHER'S DAYS HAVE COME AT ONCE !!!
Strewth. Found this little domestic scene about ten feet in the air under the house eaves. The picture is about four times the actual size.
Talk about an extended family!
There's a cartoon theme song in this: "Look out, here comes the Spider-mum!"
Dedicated to my mother, who probably wished she had eight legs what with having four kids....
He had heard the tales himself before he was hired to find out for sure. Wingless, flying, horned, quadruped mammals on a planet in Wild Space. He thought it was a fairy tale, a spacers legend. His client begged to differ. His client also offered Intel on another of these creatures he called Reindeer, one had a bioluminescent nose. He also went on to say that once a year they left their hard to find Polar Fortress at the planets northern magnetic pole to deliver gift to younglings who had been good over the course of the year. A team of 8 of the Reindeer, the Red Nosed one and an immortal man in a flying sleigh. Sounded like an easy target and quick credits.
So here he found himself, scanning the sky in the third location of the night. They had slipped by him some how at the two previous location but he had deployed several probe droids in this last attempt to capture them.
He didn't care about the credits now, he wanted to ask the man to train him. He's stealth was unmatched in the galaxy. He had been in the homes that he had visited. He left no trace of himself except for the crumbs of the food left out for him.
This man was a master. He could entering all types of buildings, bypassing their various security measures, leaving items and leaving again unseen. With skills like that he could become "The" bounty hunter. He would be a legend for all time. He had to find this Santa Claus, if it was the last thing he did in this life

I heard of the younglings in danger and I rushed to help them. It would be tricky getting to them before the Empire takes them to Mustafar. Once they're on Mustafar I'm afraid there would be nothing I could do. I had to act fast. I smuggled my way onto an Imperial freighter full of stormtroopers! I've found it best when hiding from Imperials to just hide in plain sight. As the freighter launched from it's original destination I force jumped from a skyscraper to the top of the ship. Once I was on top it was a piece of cake. There's always a hatch on top of those ships so I just slipped through that. I heard over the comms that the troopers just thought a unit left it open when last checking up there before launch. The new "stormtroopers" are a walk in the park. Not like the clones unfortunately. They followed every order, even destroying the last of the Order, but I'm still here though, and I know of two others, Master Yoda, and Master Kenobi. Kenobi sent out a beacon to all the remaining survivors to stay hidden and as far from Coruscant as possible.
It's about time I've finally heard of some others still alive! Although if I didn't get to them soon enough the Empire would surely have turned them into Inquisitors. I kept running through the ship and at the sight of a trooper I'd jump to the ceiling and wait for them to pass by. When the ship finally landed I crawled into an open container that wasn't entirely full. They unloaded me in the hanger of course. Based off of intel I had from the Clone Wars, the cells were located four floors down. I quickly made my way to the elevators, however as soon as I saw the trooper go in I knew there was no way I could get down that way. The security for the elevators had been updated since the Clone Wars. There was a clearance code required, and cameras everywhere! The only thing I had going for me was that no one knew I was there. Looking for another way down I looked at some schematics I brought with me. The only other way was through the trash chutes. I found one close by, dodged a couple of patrols and slipped right in. The chute went straight down. After the right amount of time I pushed my foot against the wall and popped out of the chute with ease. I was right outside the cells. Inside I could sense four guards. I reached for my lightsaber, walked through the door and quickly threw my lightsaber down the hall. I then went straight into dealing with the guards. There were two stormtroopers and two ISB agents. The troopers were simple, I force sprinted right behind one and the other shot him trying to hit me. The agents were furious and rushed at me. I jumped to the ceiling, grabbed the other troopers blaster, blasted him, and shot at the agents, but they were too quick. They immediately rolled out of the room and grabbed some sort of electric staffs that reminded me of Magna Guards. I ran towards them, and as I jumped in the air to confront them, my lightsaber made it back to me just in time to clash with the agents. Catching one by surprise I cut right through his staff, and right through him, but the other was not impressed. He threw me against the wall cracking my back. I fell to the floor and my lightsaber flew out of my hand. I didn't have time to grab my lightsaber. I grabbed the agent's staff as he forced himself against me to the wall again. The stench of the agent was horrendous, but what he lacked in pleasantries, he made up for in his combat skills. He was overpowering me. The electric pulse was slowly creeping toward my arm. Just as he was about to strike me all of a sudden he flew against the door followed by my lightsaber through his chest. I looked to the cells and there stood the younglings, five in total. My lightsaber throw as I entered the room successfully unlocked all the cell doors.
The alarm started to sound and over the intercoms, "REBELS AT THE MAGNETIC LOCKS! ALL UNITS RESPOND IMMEDIATELY!" Well fortunately all the troopers went to the magnetic locks, away from the hangers. The younglings and I ran for the hangers. We found all the ships unguarded. We grabbed a transport and launched out of there as soon as we could and made the jump to hyperspace. We're currently still in hyperspace as I record this log. Not knowing what to do next. All these younglings are looking to me for what to do. I'm no leader. I never made it to a Jedi Master! I'm not sure where my feelings are leading us, but I trust they will be for the best.

So I know this is late to the party but no one ever said that it was closed and there hasn't been any voting yet so I thought I'd throw mine in! I absolutely love how the story ended up for this target! I spent a lot of time on it and I'm quite proud. I hope you enjoy.

Star Wars "Uncertain ways"
Chapter 1 – „The gangs of Coruscant“
Part 5 – „I am ready for the trials !“
The more curious and more thoughtful Padawans of the order might have sought up any word ever offered by the lips of a Jedi Master like Kal Amandis, but Jona certainly didn’t. Though she liked Master Amandis a lot and was sure that he was the best swordsman among the Jedi, even a tiny bit better than her own Master, she did not listen to his philosophical talk on the importance of the holocron, holocrons in general and the Jedi Order’s history. A lifelike imagination of Roba sausages was everything Jona’s mind needed to be satisfied. When the talk had finally ended, Jona was suddenly woken from her daydream by her Master. „You were too late, again.“ He said, more disappointed than angry. „I am sorry Master, I‘ve got no excuse.“, she replied. Leaving the conference room, they slowly strolled down the hallway. „However, you did well today. Another mission completed perfectly.“, her Master continued. „A simple and quite boring mission, one has to admit. A more difficult and interesting task would maybe finally convince the council of my abilities.“ Jona added. „The council and me are very well aware of your talents. But it is not yet the time. More interesting tasks will come one day. For now it is our job to keep the peace up here on Coruscant and catching this gun dealing Rodians was a huge step.“. „Not that again, Master ! Keeping the peace up here is like mowing the temple‘s gardens. It is not a big deal ! Why don’t we get any missions beyond Coruscant ?“ Jona asked angrily. „I can just tell you that the council, which I am part of, if you forgot, intensively discuss any mission and assign it to the Jedi most prepared for it. Recently those tasks did not require the two of us, not even me alone, you have to accept that.“ Master Marogon hissed. „Still, you could atleast let me face the trials ! I am ready for them, I know it !“ Jona said, trying to keep calm. „No ! Not yet ! Practise yourself in patience, my very young Padawan !“ Whoops! She seemed to have upset her master a bit too much. Using the words ‚my very young Padawan‘ mostly implied that he was angry or at least disappointed. Jona went silent and they walked on. Changing direction to another hallway, Jona was once again distracted, not by Roba sausages this time, but by the amazing architecture of the temple. One of the first things she could remember from her time as a youngling, was walking around the temple for hours, looking up at the seemingly never ending pillars and the decorated walls. She knew that she must have annoyed some of the older Jedi gravely, but no one had ever disciplined her for it. She was glad for being chosen for this life and also proud of being a part of this tight knit, large family, which the order seemed to be. Her master eventually calmed down and started talking to her again. „It was a long day. As I mentioned before, you did well today. You may get yourself some rest. Meanwhile I will bring the holocron to the archives. I’ll meet you for evening meditation after dinner.“ he said as they reached the elevator., „Yes, Master, thank you.“ Jona replied and happily walked off to one of the temple’s canteens. Finally, she could fetch some Roba sausages !

The fifth part of Uncertain ways. This is one of my favorite parts so far. I always wanted to build one of the Jedi temple's hallways, but whenever I tried it in the past, I ran out of bricks. Now I finally managed to build it and it fits perfectly into the story. The next part is completed aswell and will be up soon, too.
Hope you like it !
Also, have a look at Jackson of Garheim's new story "Jedi Padawan". It's really nice !
View from my room at 7pm last night. I was hoping back to my previous accommodation this week so I could spend more time with people I know. I will miss this view if I move. Views there are good, but not quite as good as this.
2 x 30 second exposures, merged into one pano.
Currently have a slight issue with camera. I was swapping lenses the other day and while I had my back turned, one of the younglings of the family I was visiting touched the sensor with sticky fingers, AND then tried to wipe off the mark with her shirt. It seems there is no permanent damage but I had no sensor swabs so am waiting on delivery of new cleaning kit. Until then I am spending quite a bit of time on spot removal and other editing to get even partially clear images. Hence I am taking very few photos at the moment and those I am taking are not to the standard i would like.
Décidé à faire du repérage malgré le temps très menaçant j'ai atterri en fin d'après midi au bord de l'Oyak .
J'ai finalement décidé de m'installer là et de tenter cette petite composition assez simpliste mais il me semble très zen ...

During our wildlife photography workshop in Yellowstone, we visited this cliff nearly every afternoon in hopes of catching these young Big Horn Sheep. We called them the "Younglings," since their horns aren't very well developed. Plus, there were some quite small sheep amongst these guys.
This was one of the shots I took right before a large cinnamon black bear walked right behind my husband.
I cropped the heck out of this one. 400mm (on a full frame sensor) wasn't near long enough to get these guys.
His grim expression and his habit of eating quickly, which Jona had noticed several times before, seemed to scare of everyone.

This little frog, a dendrobate (Thank so much, Younglings!) is extremely dangerous :
It can bite you and swallow your brain... :D
Seriously, one nanogramme of the poison from its skin could be deadly for a human. That's the poison of the amazonian natives arrows.
We are Goliath, this little frog : David...
