Primary dune formation takes place on the wide beaches of Ameland.

During a large supply of sand on the coast, a wide beach forms and a part of this sand remains behind obstacles such as seaweed, ropes and fish boxes.

A small freshwater lens develops in the resulting heap of sand and thanks to the nitro-rich decaying waste, colostrum grass and then marram grass will soon sprout to hold the sand.

The rounded dune tops in this image are about 2 meters high.

Young couple dancing by the window. I don’t know the names of these people, I know that they don’t smoke or drink alcohol ... and they’ll have a wedding soon. The photo was taken during the celebration of the anniversary in the Moscow restaurant.

Under the phrase "harmonious couple", many understand approximately one thing: partners fit each other, have a great relationship, in the end, look good next to each other. But all this does not fully reflect the essence of the concept.

According to scientists, there are five aspects that define a wonderful union and are present in a relationship.

Mutual respect. This is one of the fundamental conditions for a strong union of a man and a woman. If one partner is not ready or does not want to accept the other as he is, accept his shortcomings and features, a good family will not work.

The desire to speak frankly with a partner. According to psychologists, the ability to find common topics of conversation, to interest another in something is an important condition. But it is even more important to be able and ready to listen and hear a loved one. Pretending that you are interested in discussing a topic is one of the types of lies and will not lead to anything good.

Feel and be one team. This is expressed in the distribution of responsibilities around the house, and sincere care for each other, and in the feeling of oneself as a whole. Remember the musketeers' motto: "One for all and all for one"? Something like this is tacitly in the relationship of spouses.

Sense of humor. In a harmonious relationship, it is good not only to admire each other's skills, but also to joke fun about shortcomings, it is easy and positive to experience troubles.

Confidence. In a couple where there is no absolute trust in each other, there is no happy future. Doubt can kill even the greatest love.

What I think was a youngish red wattlebird flew into the gum tree very close to me! A nice surprise after an unsuccessful hour in the park where very few birds ventured out.

Happy Wing Wednesday!

The red kite (Milvus milvus) is a medium-large bird of prey in the family Accipitridae, which also includes many other diurnal raptors such as eagles, buzzards, and harriers. The species is currently endemic to the Western Palearctic region in Europe and northwest Africa, though formerly also occurred just outside in northern Iran.[2] It is resident in the milder parts of its range in western Europe and northwest Africa, but birds from northeastern and central Europe winter further south and west, reaching south to Turkey. Vagrants have reached north to Finland and south to Israel, Libya and Gambia.

I think this Robin (Erithacus rubecula) must have only fledged this year judging by the juvenile feathers

I've had opossums passing through my yard for years, sort of off and on, more and less. This Spring I thnk I got youngsters too, not streetwise yet and who allowed me more than a glimpse. It was early on a rainy morning, and this one is between the Mexican Sage backdrop and fresh new wild California Poppy plants. Those were the days.
