I took this through my window this morning as several deer were clearly questioning who stole spring??

Hopefully, spring will return in a few days..... :)

Have a beautiful week!!!

Where no one ever goes.

I want this to be a message for anyone looking at my back!

I was inspired by Sally's Just for You card. I liked the idea of using a single stripe across the card as the main focal image. I love how it turned out! Looks like lace!

The ink is pearlescent and shimmers and shines in real life! Thanks for looking! :-)

I saw several of these benches around the side paths of Moor Park in Preston, and decided to feature the end of the bench, with the name and golden colours of the design on the black metal frame - thrown against the out of focus relief of the actual park beyond (by using f/3.5).

This video was taken this morning at the end of our walk where we go once a week. This is a location where I have done recent TNR of all the adults and rehomed all the kittens. The adults are cared for by the caretaker who lives on the premises. They always look forward to our arrival.

Emory feeds them 'lots because they always seem hungry ...they look healthy because we feed them. The only time I've seen evidence of food out for them was a bowl of white rice. I'm sure they feed them...but not much. There are a total of six cats living there ...all fixed now.

Sorry for the noise ...it was my cell phone......calls from the lady who I'm doing the TNR for.

TNR Update : 2/ 7/ 12------No pics to share....as they were in crates or traps--which does not show them in the best mood ...

** The elderly tom tested positive for leukemia. He also showed signs of having cancer. He was humanely relieved of his suffering. His pix here: www.flickr.com/photos/rainriver/6826242991/in/photostream/

** The other two young cats caught yesterday tested neg for leukemia and feline FIV. They were spayed / neutered this morning.

** I trapped another adult earlier this afternoon. S/he is at my vet.

Really. That's what she said. My friend/co-worker Lisa is participating in Project Amazing Balloon and she asked me to be amazing. :) Thank you, Lisa. You are the amazing one.

This photo goes out to the ones who keep my index finger itching to press the shutter button continuously.

I've never felt so welcomed, warm, and in awe by an online art community before. I am so glad i have found flickr, and more than glad to have found great and inspiring flickr loves = YOU. <3

For everyone who drop by my photo stream to make an effort to leave comments, notes, who shares the love and magic, who give out constructive criticisms regarding my photos, for those who might have just stumbled upon my page and leave no trace, for the warm and fuzzy flickr community: YOU ARE AMAZING! <3

YOU are in my inspiration list and i hope i get to inspire you all too the way you magical people inspire me.

Long live Photography! <3

I know a lot about computers but I lack in naming birds. I call this one a black bird. Funny, huh? Tell me if you know what breed is this one. Thanks.

I made this artist trading card (ATC) for a wonderful friend, to thank her for the lovely holiday gift she sent. I used Distress Inks on watercolor paper to create the background. The bow is made from white embroidery floss colored with Shabby Shutters Distress Ink.

I was inspired to make this ATC after seeing Donna Mikasa's House ATCs from the Hero Arts 2010 Catalog Blog Hop. There is so much fabulous inspiration in that hop!

Thanks for looking! :-)

Hate the blur if you like, but I love it.

I know I already posted my 365 for the day but I just wanted to put this up because of how much fun I had on Sunday with my family.

I also wanted to thank everyone for all the support you give me. I don't feel like I could ever thank you enough. I started photography out of boredom and it's turned into something that means a lot to me. When I made my flickr, I got no attention. I would get so excited if I got any views on my photos let alone comments. Now I get comments and favorites for every photo(wouldn't it be funny if I got no comments on this photo just for saying that). So thank you....ALL of you! :)

For this month's Hero Arts Color Challenge to use kraft, cranberry, slate blue, pine, and snow.

Background is 140# watercolor paper, covered with Aged Mahogany (cranberry), Weathered Wood (slate blue), and Pine Needles (pine) Distress Inks and then misted with Perfect Pearls plus water in Pearl (snow). (Shine shows up better in this close-up.) White (snow) metallic elastic cord wrapped around and then mounted to a kraft card base.

Stamp from Hero Arts CL401 Speckled Ornaments set stamped using Tsukineko Memento Dew Drop in Desert Sand (kraft). Then I stamped Hero Arts C4901 Amazing over top using Aged Mahogany (cranberry) Distress Ink. Slate blue pearls from CH213 Sea Mixed Accents. Scalloped oval raised on foam squares for dimension.

Thanks for looking! :-)

A great card arrived in the post today!

I felt so special and loved...

...but sadly it was just a generic mailshot from Virgin Media...

March 16th, 2009

On the 14th of February, 2014 VCAD students celebrated Valentine âs Day in Vancouver, BC. We had a small exhibition of the hearts with what we love. Feel free to post your comments underneath because we want to know what you think.

Here is what one of the Graphic Design program students says about VCAD: âThe instructors help to make my education better by giving suggestions to improve our assignments, show us ways to improve our work in VCAD, point out our mistakes, tell us proper way to complete projects for school or clients, and by giving us skills we can use for our future jobs. The new computers, programs, and other tools make our classrooms innovative. Overall, my experience has been good. We have clean work spaces, clean classrooms and teacher and staff who are nice and work with us.â

Press C? :D

A frase ali do lado é do Bruno Mars.
