My favorite store. Happy Window Wednesday to All....super busy trying to catch up. HORRIBLE day at work. This makes me smile however. 😃
Yorkville is one of the most expensive places to either live or shop in Toronto. Condo's here can go up to $2 Million!
Yorkville, The old hippie grounds, now upscale cafes and boutiques was deserted during pandemic. Now, as the restrictions are slowly lifting, the business is trying to attract people to come. They painted the streets and closed one street for traffic. I am not sure why would they painted stop signs and black faces.

Yorkville is known as the posh part of Toronto they could be right if the cars parked there are any indication.
I have a hard time relating to this when there are people sleeping on the street.
My thanks to all of you who stop, look and comment. I will be sure to check out your photostream.

West of Church the street becomes more commercial and is an important shopping district. In downtown, especially around the intersection with Bay Street, Bloor is one of the most exclusive stretches of real estate in Canada.
Under the intersection of Yonge and Bloor Streets is the Bloor–Yonge subway station, which is the busiest in the city, serving approximately 368,800 people a day. Above ground, the intersection encompasses commercial stores and condominiums. The stretch of Bloor between Yonge and Avenue Road, in Yorkville, is called Mink Mile, and it is the most prestigious shopping street in Toronto.
In the downtown, Bloor Street serves as the northern edge of the University of Toronto campus, and is host to several historic sites, including the Bata Shoe Museum, the Royal Conservatory of Music, and the southern edge of Yorkville, in an area now known as the Bloor Street Culture Corridor.

Taken in Yorkville. The deluge was so heavy that it rained into the tops of my tall, Wellington-like boots, and I was soon making a sloshing sound with every step I took.
A very upclass area and it's all about wealth and high end fashion.
