Yoga and meditation is combined practice to balance both body and mind.
This photo was taken in Bradenton, Florida at my yoga teacher training over the summer. In this photo, I am doing a yoga pose in the garden of the retreat center. I desire yoga not only for its physical benefits, but for its mental and emotional benefits as well. I desire to learn yoga philosophy and practice yoga breathing on a daily basis, as it helps me with stress and anxiety. Knowing that I desire yoga, I make time for it every day and probably will for the rest of my life. I also incorporate it daily into my art and the way I think about things.
