Driving into Wasdale the wind was blowing and the rain pouring.. I risked parking up and taking a shot, the clouds over the fells looked wonderful.. Didn't manage the shot I wanted because the rain was driving straight at the lens, so ended up taking a shot of my Yeti... lol.

Thanks for taking time to fave, comment and look at my work. I really appreciate.

This is an illustration I created for the exhibition "Fiesta Duduá del fin del mundo". The Duduá, a great craft shop in Barcelona is going to close and this work will be exposed in its last exhibition.

The 22th december from 19th to 22th all the artists work will be on sale with a cheap cost. You are invited! Unfortunatly I couldn't be at the party :(

Good luck Duduá!

Sometimes, all you need is a warm bed by a roaring fire... In his fight to reclaim his youth, Yeti had stuck his head into the fireplace earlier in the day (when it wasn't lit), and dyed his head fur black.

Happy New Year!

Macro Monday: #PrintedWord

Well, it doesn't happen all too often that I can't decide which capture I should upload for Macro Mondays. Or that I actually have many (finished) captures (plural!) to choose from in the first place... In the end Milou / Struppi / Snowy / Bobbie / Terry / Milù won out over a detail of the instruction leaflet that was in the box together with my Kenko extension tubes, saying, surprise, "Extension Tube", and taken with the extion tubes mounted to my macro lens (very original). Or over a photo of the word "Micro" plus the Micro Four Thirds logo that was printed on that box. Or over a detail from another manual. Or... The possibilities were endless, weren't they, since we are literally (and luckily) surrounded by "Printed Word(s)".

I'll readily admit that Snowy growling at the Yeti (or actually just growling as a precaution when they enter a Himalayan ice cave in search of Tintin's friend Chang, because they'll meet the Yeti much later) isn't the most intellectual choice of a printed word, but I think it's colourful fun. And universially comprehesible, isn't it? Grrr. Right.

This is a 2,3 cm / 0,9 inches wide image section of the last panel on page 29 of the German version of Tintin in Tibet, one of my favourite Tintin books, processed entirely in Lightroom this time, as the standard tool yielded satisfactory results. And yes, I still read the books from time to time ;-)

Guys, I'll catch up with you tonight! A Happy Macro Monday, Everyone, and have a pleasant week ahead!

They named this snowy owl after a white Sasquatch.

Looking through these ice curtains, draping from the catwalk, on the Grand Haven pier reminded me of the Yeti's mouth (Bumbles) on the Rudolph The Reindeer Christmas special.

Another Yeti SB6C.. this is also a complete custom made mountain bike. Compared to the turquoise version this bike here is about 2kg lighter and an example for a woman build.

Also: way way less "bling". But still damn sexy :-)

Personally i prefer the other one.
