A building in town. They turned an old mill into a shopping centre of sorts. Small scale but way cool.
Flickr is not letting a comment tonight
Happy Window Wednesday
If you are ever in the lovely town of Paris in Ontario. You first better let me know, as I would love to meet some of my fellow Flickeroos. This nice little shop is in the Paris Wincey Mills. I have some nice bow ties from here. Only a few block from my house in downtown Paris.
We are the meaning of quaint....
Happy Window Wednesday
A drive by fence shot. There are a few older homes in Paris with some old style picket fences. It is rather nice to see the fences like this.
Happy Fence Friday
Just two blocks from my house is this nice old building that has been converted into specialty shops. It is quite nice and I love when buildings are re-purposed.
Paris Wincey Mills
Happy Window Wednesday
This old building is two blocks from my house. It has been repurposed and that is a good thing.
Happy Slider Sunday
This is an old building redone. It is now the Paris Wincey Mills. It has lovely shops inside. I hope they will reopen soon.
Happy Window Wednesday
Old abandoned church in the field.
This old church was built in 1899.It is abandoned and part of a Farmers field now in Hensal,Ontario Canada.
A cool looking building in Hamilton Ontario. I love tripping through Hamilton. A city with lots of character.
Happy Window Wednesday
This is another one of those shots where I do not remember where it was taken. But that is the fun in it sometimes. I believe the sign is beside another on a pole, it just looks odd because of the position.
You play it by ear when out and about.
Happy Window Wednesday
The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane.

This Austin Seven is for taking tourists on tours around Christchurch. The bad news is beside the driver it only fits one passanger.
Amsterdam - Spaarndammerplantsoen / Zaanstraat.
"Spaarndam 2" is a social housing complex built in the Amsterdam School style of architecture and designed in 1918 by architect Michel de Klerk. With this sculptural block, De Klerk has made a major contribution to the street scene. Particularly beautiful are the trapezoidal windows, the sculptures above the porches reminiscent of mushrooms and starfish, the imaginative wooden attic windows and the very special organic windows of the former shop corner.
Restoration was completed this spring.
Older style industrial building in Kitchener ON.
Nice simple style with new advertising on her. Change is always around the corner.

Eye-catching hodge-podge of meandering conduit and tubing, wires, broken windows, and general disarray, on a wall off of a parking lot behind an abandoned church in Wilkinsburg. The Reserved Parking signs are a poignant relic of a time when the place and the people there had a purpose.

Brantford still has quite a few houses that were built in the late 1800s and early 1900s, although many are falling into disrepair. The former manor that this fence once protected from wandering livestock is now an apartment building.
Zuider Stadsgracht, Leeuwarden, Friesland, The Netherlands
This building used to be a prison. Now we don't need prisons anymore, because no one ever commits crimes anymore these days. Never ever. Or is telling lies a crime in itself?

Happy Wall Wednesday!
A wall mural in Lucknow,Ontario depicting Paul Henderson's famous winning goal against the Russians in the 1972 Summit of Canada VS Russia!
I remember watching that game as a kid! All schools in Canada were gathered in the gyms to watch the game Live ,instead of doing our school work. We screamed and shouted and cried when Canada's Paul Henderson scored the winning goal to win the series!!!!
It still tugs on my heart strings to watch that goal!
