The crane had fallen off a bridge abutment some fifteen years before, and I was on my back, with Janis taking the shot more or less straight down.
Please feel free to browse the Cornick family archive. The images were taken from the early 1960s and up to about 1980 in rural Somerset and Gloucestershire, England.

The reason I can't sleep at night, it haunts my dreams.. Peers into my soul. It knows who I am, The things I've done... God help us all.
(As long as you give it a constant feed of 120 and good cleaning it's happy... for now)

Again, i must say, you can't stop eating in Penang. What you see here is a mixture of local Malay & Chinese food. On the right is Fried Oyster Omelet. Top is Pasembur or Rojak (Sort of prawn fritters with spicy peanut sauce). On the left is Otak Otak (literally means brains but it's definitely not) made out of seafood bind with flour mixture with Thai favouring. Bottom is Bak Chang, glutinous rice with Pork, Salted eggs and Mushrooms. :-D
This fertilizer (20% bacteria/80%water) is used in nearby Alabama farms. These images were taken at the ECUA Water Reclamation Facility (ECUA-WRF) in Cantonment, FL.
My honors students and I take a yearly tour of ECUA-WRF and this was the first year that the weather included full sun (I was counting on overcast + wind).
My normal 1600 ISO (high contrast!) was not possible my Yashica D’s max 1/500s and f/22, so I opted for 200 ISO (metered and pulled in development) to see what came up.
I was pleasantly surprised by the contrast at 200 ISO. I begin to think that HP5+ is best when you shoot for high contrast (low ISO on a sunny day or high ISO when overcast/indoors). 400 ISO with even light makes HP5+ seem muddy to me.
Exposed on HP5 @200 with Yashica-D; developed in HC-110B.
When I took the photograph, what caught my eye was the plant lights in the upstairs windows. As I worked it up, what caught my eye was the light on the sky. Comparisons.
