bananas at the birdhouse yard ;-)---
Pumpkin Pie and Boney Baloney
were 1st taken to the mud/cobra
field for an hour of real big fun.
Then I returned home and picked up
Mr Little Larry & Miss Legs The Zoomer.
Turned around and headed back to
the birdhouse yard where both dogs
are in a secured area with a block wall.
The Zoomer slowly checked everything
closely while Larry went absolutely nuts.
When we returned home I finally had breakfast.
Looked around and saw all four dogs laying on
their sides with long purple tongues hanging out.
Oh No, is something wrong with all the dogs ?
Quickly thumbed through the "Dog Book 4 Dummies."
I found a quote from Mr heiney,
"A Tired Dog Is A Good Dog."
Oh what a relief, why didn't I think of that ?

Here is the exercise yard at the main cell block at Alcatraz Penitentiary in San Francisco. I'm shooting this from home plate where the cons played baseball. The most important prisoners sat on the highest steps and at the top you could see over the wall to the Bay.
For several weeks, we've had an orphaned set of twins in the neighborhood. Today, there is only one. I am hoping that they are just confident enough to go their own way. This is the little buck, who was looking after his little sister. First day I've seen only one. :( He seems to find our yard appealing, so we try and look out for him.

Raritan Central's pair of former Great Northern GP20s does some switching in their yard before heading out to service a few customers. Note that these units are still set up for long hood forward operation, as the engineer is working from the right side of the cab. Both units wear a creative adaptation of Genesee & Wyoming's livery, with red substituting for orange and "Raritan" replacing "Georgia" above the word "Central" in the logos.

haven't been able to walk my yard since surgery on July 1st to see my plants and what's blooming. Mike has been wonderful taking care of the watering when it hasn't rained. I hobbled around this morning in a couple of different trips to keep from overdoing and was overjoyed to see all this beauty. Top left clockwise: Bird of Paradise, next one can't remember name:( Zinnia, Snail Vine, Cactus, Passion Vine, Morning Glory, Plumber (planted in memory of my Mom) and in the center the yellow is Butterfly vine so called because the seeds are the brownish sort-of-flower next to it that looks like a butterfly.

The Parish Church of St John the Baptist was founded by Roger de Montgomery and stands on the site of an even earlier Anglo-Saxon church. Several extensions have been made including the outer south aisle which was added in 1883 by John Oldrid Scott although there is still much evidence of the original Norman work
Halesowen A church and two priests at Halesowen are mentioned in the Domesday Survey of 1086 so, although the oldest part of the church of St John the Baptist dates from 1120, the church is of Saxon foundation. It seems to have been subject to Halesowen Abbey from the foundation of that institution in 1214 until the Dissolution of the Monasteries by Henry VIII 1536-1539
Not often seen off Crown point 08874 couples up to the Pretendalino stock in the lower yard at Norwich to take it up to Crown point.

Once heavy road units, many of these Warbonnet Dash 9's now call classification yards home with their RCO conversions enabling them to be remote controlled while working around the yard. Galesburg is a prime example with several of these Warbonnets now in yard service. Pictured here are BNSF 674, 692 and 686.
