This building, like many of Yale University's buildings, was constructed in the neo-Gothic architecture style.
From Wiki: Yale Glacier is a 20-mile-long (32 km) glacier in the U.S. state of Alaska. It begins between Mount Cardozo and Mount Einstein and trends southwest to Yale Arm of College Fjord, 47 miles (76 km) west of Valdez. It was named for Yale University by members of the 1899 Harriman Alaska Expedition.
Piece of scrap metal now.. Was once a working piece of machinery at the now abandoned Bethlehem Steel factory in Pennsylvania.. visited a couple weeks back, must do again!
Just south of downtown OKC in the Capital Hill neighborhood. The Yale was built in 1910 and renovated beginning in 2018.
I'm so fortunate to have such an abundance of appealing (not to mention old) architecture so close by. The scene here is a less than 5-minute walk from my apartment. (Another benefit of my neighborhood is the fact that crime is more or less unheard of.) People of New Haven sometimes gripe about how "Yale doesn't benefit New Haven enough", but the truth of the matter is that taking Yale out of the New Haven equation doesn't leave much for those who stay behind.
I've come up with some new items and ideas about shooting, processing and posting film; if things go well I could have ready-to-go pics from one of my (old and much treasured - like me!) cameras within a week or two. We shall see. In the meantime, there's always the phone, as was used for this shot.
