As I've uploaded today's TP picture with yesterday's MM theme, an random pic for today.
This old map is at the exit of the parking lot at the sport boat harbour. Dunno who this was aimed at, because AFAIK there are no places for tourist's boats.
The streets are still the same, but of the numbers, telling you where to find what, only the sail maker at (2) is still valid.
(1) in the Wischhofstraße was Aldi, which is closed for at least 10 years, maybe even 15 yr.
The second (1) in the Schönberger Straße - I don't remember that there has ever been a grocery store. There's a baker now, which is marked as (6) - where I don't remember one, ever. (Das war früher Markmann, später Minimal, heute Rossmann)
Can't say anything to (3) Yachtservice - I'm not aware that there ever was one, but as I have no boat, I never really cared.
The bank at (4) has been demolished in 2005 with the high-rise block.
The doctors and apothecary at (5) are either on the wrong corner, or this map is even older than 1994, when the Praxisklinik was opened.
Geomar moved 1987 on the site.

Heading north, it’s only a three minute walk to the BC Ferries Departure Bay terminal, offering daily sailings across Georgia Strait to Vancouver. For overnight accommodation, the Buccaneer Motel, a favorite of divers, is right across the street making it an easy go to Nanaimo’s world famous wreck dive artificial reefs.

The 87.78m/288' motor yacht 'Fountainhead' was built by Feadship in the Netherlands at their Makkum shipyard. Her interior is styled by Dutch designer design house Sinot Yacht Design and she was delivered to her owner in August 2011. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of De Voogt.
The Majesty 175 will be one of the largest megayachts in the world to be built fully using advanced composite materials.
