Die schöne gepflegte Lok der Budamar ist hier auf dem Weg durch das wunderschöne Elstertal. Gerade hier in Wünschendorf wird der namensgebende Fluß, die weiße Elster , überquert.
Auf dem Weg nach Tschechien, musste die Budamar Lok 232 701 in Wünschendorf zur Kreuzung auf dem Rand! Hier noch ein paar Relikte der alten Zeit!
Internationalen Güterverkehr gab es am 02. Juli 2022 auf der Elstertalbahn Weischlitz - Gera zu erleben. Der EuroRunner 223 071 der Länderbahn, welche hier leihweise für die Budamar West GmbH unterwegs ist, hatte die Aufgabe einen Getreidezug vom Tschechischen Vojtanov nach Zeitz zu befördern. Der mitgeschleppte Vectron 383 210 der ZSSK war dabei eine willkommene Abwechselung.
Heute morgen ging es früh raus, da ich im Harz 232 601 mit einem Sonderzug versuchen wollte. Ich fuhr in aller Herrgottsfrühe los und kassierte die klassische Fotowolke...auch das zweite Bild sollte einer Wolke zum Opfer fallen.
So ging es enttäuscht zurück in die Heimat und es galt die Entscheidung zu treffen - Bahnbetrieb Gera versuchen oder zurück ins Bett...angesichts der Wolkenwand aus Westen standen die Chancen nicht besonders gut.
Da der Zug 60 Minuten Verspätung hatte kamen immer mehr die Zweifel auf, ob sich das ganze lohnen würde, doch ich wollte mein Glück am heutigen Tage noch herausforden und so ging es nach Balgstädt.
Doch die Wolkenwand kam auch immer näher und wenige Sekunden sollten über Scheitern oder Erfolg urteilen - da InfraGO sich ausnahmsweise kompetent zeigte und den Zug schon bis Freyburg fahren lies konnte ich wenige Sekunden vor Licht aus die schöne 232 701 mit ihrem langen artreinen Kesselzug im schönen Unstruttal festhalten.

Am ersten Tag des neunten Monats 2022 ergab sich die Gelegenheit die bei Triangula eingestellte 232 173 mit neuen Containertragwagen in Plauen-West zu fotografieren.
Am 18. November 2017 konnten die zwei Ludmillas 232 589 und 571 mit ihrem Elbtalumleiter „LKW Walter – KT 56766 Brno - Rostock-Seehafen“ bei einem Kreuzungsaufenhalt im Bahnhof Vojtanov (CZ) fotografiert werden.

While Ferdinand Porsche was responsible for many vehicles, the first car to bear his name was the 356, designed by his son Ferry Porsche and long time associate Karl Rabbe, and was first produced by Austrian company, Porsche Konstruktionen GesmbH (1948–1949), and then by German company Dr. Ing. h. c. F. Porsche GmbH (1950–1965). From the earliest, 1,100 cc Gmünd beginnings, the overall shape of the 356 remained more or less set. In 1951, 1,300 and 1,500 cc engines with considerably more power were introduced. In April 1952 the split windscreen was replaced by a slightly V-shaped, single windshield, which fit into the same shape opening. In 1953, the 1300 S or Super was introduced and the 1,100 cc engine was dropped.
In late 1955, with numerous small but significant changes, the 356 A was introduced replacing the original 356.

First Huddersfield, Volvo B7TL / Wright Gemini XJ54 XTV
( 32508 ) is the second Gemini to receive the livery for the X6 / X63 services. Gold relief / route branding and legal lettering are still to be applied. Sat in Hunslet.
When Stagecoach ran the Scottish Citylink services 914/915/916 (Glasgow-Fort William-Isle of Skye) there was a batch of 2008/9 Volvo B12B/Plaxton Panther's allocated but it also saw golden oldies like 52647 in use on the routes.
Stagecoach Glasgow's Volvo B10M-62/Jonckheere 52647 (T667 XTV) is seen here in the summer of 2012 at Kyle of Lochalsh, on the Scottish mainland, before it crosses over the Skye Bridge to the Isle of Skye. The journey from Glasgow to Uig takes around 8 hours to complete and covers some 230 miles end to end.
