This interesting looking rock leaning over the edge of the granite outcrops served as our windstill picnic spot after we reached the summit of Belstone tor. The rock reminds me of the Xenomorph head of Alien ;-) The granite I named the shard from a previous upload can be seen in the background on the right hand side. Somebody also forgot his or her shirt on the rocks in the centre background - at least no plastic rubbish dumped into the wild. The Irishman's wall and the logan stone from my other photo would be in the opposite direction of this view - there's lots of fascinating stuff to explore in a small area!

In this ventral view, one cannot deny the similarity of this tiny, scorpion-tailed spider to the Alien face-hugger....the parasitic lifeform that hatches from xenomorph eggs in the Alien movie franchise.

But this little spider is just 10 mm total length.

These distinctive looking Australian spiders were given their common name because they sometimes curl the ends of their abdomens upwards in much the same way as a scorpion does - but there is no venom loaded sting to this tail.

Males are much smaller and lack the extended abdomen.

Some random bits & pieces in here but it fells close to the NECA Aliens figure that I based it on.

I think those red hero factory limbs might have been good for limbs on this but I don't have any :/

I tried to get a stable pic with no ICM of the hand of Xenomorph (the Alien from Alien movies) 😳, but she wouldn't sit still!! She was actually sleeping.. you wouldn't want to meet her when she is awake. 👻

Just mucking around with some pieces and they looked a bit like a chestburster. I couldn't find enough hollow white bits to bulk up the torso, but it kinda looks like it.
