One of Eve's favorite places to be is in bed, usually upside down and twisted around in the most unique ways. I just fell in love with her eye on this one. Oh and Eve said she only wants close ups for the next few weeks as she is beyond nekkid. =P

I think Eve met Tinkerbell, found her Happy Thought and is now off to Neverland.
So I had this planned out. The book was going to be propped up and I was going to have her looking down at it with the glasses on. I got a few okay shots but while I was downloading them I turned around and Eve was starting to fall asleep on the book. When I notice that ear up like that I was like "OMG she is dreaming about flying!!" So apparently this weeks picture is all Eve's idea, I will give her credit.

The newest addition to the family. Drove all the way to IL to pick this handsome boy up this weekend and meet his breeder. I was thrilled when I met all of her lovely chessies, all of which I must say have THE best temperaments besides being beautiful examples of the breed.
Tres is a soon to be 6 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever whose registered name is CH Sandbar's Three Wishes. He is quite the successful show dog, he is a Sporting Group Winner and multiple Group Placer with very limited showing.

A while back a lot of 52 Weekers did some Railroad pictures and I've been dying to take Eve out to do some too so I figured B&W week was a good time to do so. I wanted Eve to look lonely and depressed, wondering the tracks alone. I wasn't sure how I was going to get that so I just sat her down a few feet away from where I was sitting. This is the look I got when I baby talked her as she was coming toward me. lol
I loved the challenge, I've never attempted to shoot B&W from the camera!

This was from a photo shoot I had with Rush in December. I seem to have skipped over this until now. I think the colors make this look so MIAMI!
In other news, I'm going to start using my flickr for only my dogs, I'm going to be starting a blog for the four legged children. I'm going to start another account for everything else (Photo shoots and such). You can find that here, Ring 3 Studios.

I just love how the shadows came out on this shot. And this building had terrible lighting!!

I've been going crazy this week. The Clumber Spaniel National Specialty may have been on the smaller side (100 entries) but with just my sister and I doing the Photography & Videography it sure was hectic. I'm surprised we had time to take a 52 week picture but Eve and I managed. =P

Siren is trying to convince me to go to the Dock Diving competition this weekend to relax, enjoy, and have fun before things really get hectic. Its a 3 day event in Cape Coral, FL which is about 2 hours from home. I think it will be a fun place to get some photos too. Plus Sye-Sye could use the socialization.
In two week my sister and I will be the official photographer / videographer at the 2011 Clumber Nationals. Should be fun!
Was taken with the 50mm f/1.4, it was around 7:30 when I took this so it was getting pretty dark out!

First the Rainbow tree and now the Rainbow Lizard! These guys are FAST, especially the girls (see her in comments), I was having a hard time capturing them. I found I believe 2 males and 3 females in my Grandparents yard. Next time I bring the 100-400mm Lens!

A couple day ago Eve's brother lost his battle with Lupus. He was a beautiful boy inside and out and I know he will be terribly missed by those who loved him. Eve and I happened to be in the location of the one photo shoot I had the privilege to do with him. So I took Eve out to the same exact hill exactly one year later.

Poor Eve, she is watching me pack for a dog show but little does she know she is staying home this time! She doesn't suspect it as I NEVER leave her home! This time of year is always crazy, I believe we have a dog show every weekend until the big Eukanuba show in December. This weekend we are headed to Murfreesboro, TN. Actually I'm planning on leaving in 4 hours for 16 hour drive so I think I oughta go to sleep!
Oh and I may just have a surprise when I get back. =p

Eve is doing me a favor and showing off the new Crochet Show Lead I made for Read. It's about 4ft long and actually very strong/sturdy, Read gets to try out this new lead at a dog show in 2 weeks. See another photo of the lead here. I just learned to crochet last week and I'm enjoying it. Up next is a 1" collar for Eve that will go with her new Dog Tags I had made from a clever shop on Etsy! =p
This photo was taken with my new Canon 85mm f/1.8 and I'm absolutely in LOVE!!! I used it to take over 1000 pictures at the dog show this weekend. It handles the action shots so well and the head shots ringside are sooo crisp! I will be posting some on my other Flickr account for Ring 3 Studios. <3 <3 <3 =p
Also Evie got to cheer on her Chow Chow Cousins (mom's dogs) at the shows this weekend. Red took WB/BOW for a 4pt major to finish her Championship. Morrigan won Select both days for 2 majors toward her Grand Championship. Then Connor won Best of Opposite & Select Dog to finish his Grand Championship at 13 Months old making him the youngest Male Chow and second overall to his 1/2 sister Fae to finish their GCH. Fae finished hers at 10 months. I'm listed as breeder on Fae, Morrigan, & Red so I'm quite proud of mom's furry children.

Eve and I have been lacking in motivation. We've hit a wall in our 52 Weeks and I think we need get out of the house and find some nice place for photos! Shouldn't be too hard, we are in Miami!
Also I'm working on a project to hand make Eve a new Collar. I will be just for looks, I will post when I'm done!

Okay so we're back from the 3 days of dock diving. Siren got to participate in 5 Waves, ouch to my wallet but she LOVED it and did so great for her first time off a dock. The very first time in practice she put on the breaks but after less than 30 seconds of whining and pacing she figured it out. As she gets too excited when water is involved we had to do the place and send method.
Here is how she did in the competition.
Friday - Wave #1 Siren jumped 11ft 2in and placed 2nd in the Junior Division
Friday - Wave #2 Siren jumped 11ft 8in and placed 2nd in the Junior Division
We skipped Wave #3 as she was tired and falling asleep in her crate... LOL
Saturday - Wave #4 Siren Jumped 14ft 2in and placed 3rd in the Junior Division with a larger entry.
We skipped Wave #5
Sunday Wave #6 Siren Jumped 12ft 8in and enjoyed every minute of it placing 5th in the Junior Division
Sunday Wave #7 Siren Jumped 14ft 10in! Placing 1st in the Junior Division and making it to Finals!! The announcer mentioned that she had a nice "POP" off the dock I was soo proud! Yay!!
Sunday Finals Siren was so tuckered out! I stretched her and pumped her up but you could tell she didn't have the same energy as earlier in the day. Her best was 12ft 9in and she placed 4th.
So Proud of her first weekend on the dock! She had a blast and I had so much fun! And she comes home with her Junior Dock Dogs Title!!! We will definitely have to do it again and next time bring the old lady. Nalu is mad I left her home... I let her have an hour in the pool today but she is still not happy with me... LOL

Eve was caught red handed sticking her nose in the trash, attacking what little was left in the empty cream cheese container. When she saw me she ran to the couch and looked at me with her "wasn't me" face.
And notice her right ear? Sometimes her ear doesn't work right, I've been meaning to take a picture of it! I think its adorable. =P

Now you all can see Eve's master pleading skills. Here she was begging to go out but I told her not until the late afternoon and only then for a few minutes or we will be devoured by monster mosquitoes! I always hate this time of year. I have to get this expression from the front, it is just so pathetic, the only thing she is lacking is the quivering bottom lip. =P
Tomorrow Eve has an appointment to be spayed, wish her luck!
This is last minute for me again... Everything has been crazy here, I'm going to try and view/comment on photos in the 52 weeks pool this week, I feel terrible I haven't had a chance.

Socializing at the dog show this weekend. She loved the commotion but didn't really care for folks touching her backside. She would play with everyone but if they tried to touch her she would dodge and then bounce at bounce around playing... Silly girl, that does not work for the ring!
I guess I forgot to post after it happened but a week ago Siren was retrieving in the pool and stupid me I had 3 Chessies and a Toller in there together. She came out one time and gave me a heart attack, I thought her eye looked funny and at first I thought she scratched her eye. Turns out one of the other Chessies must have snagged its nail on her bottom eye lid and ripped it. You can see the small V that is there now. Now she looks like a Chessie with her honorable retrieving scar. =P

Just another week at a dog show this week. Eve didn't get to show of course but she got to visit with all her Dog Show friends. She hung out with everyone to watch Groups a couple of the days. I swear she needs to do therapy work, she has never met a person she didn't like and she especially loves kids.
Here she was begging a friend of mine for some chicken!
