IrusuMachiya offers a choice of two self-contained floors with traditionally themed rooms offering guests everything they need to make the most of their stay in Kyōto.

I highly recommend a stay there to fellow friends and travelling samurai looking for a place hang up their sword and take off their armour and relax.

Although smaller and less famous than the Koenji Awa Odori, the Mitaka event felt much more intimate without the screaming megaphones of security guards and plenty of room to manoeuvre among the crowds.
