1967 FIAT 1100 R Familiale.
Registered in April 2019.
Anglia Car Auctions, King's Lynn -
"Chassis number: 1632100. This delightful and rare 1967 Fiat 1100R Familiale is believed to have originally been owned by a vineyard near Turin, but was then stored for several years before being imported into the UK in 2019. During 2022, it was given a full body refurbishment and bare metal respray in original Fiat Pavone (Peacock) Blue, plus a service and many new parts including brakes, exhaust, tyres, suspension bushes and electrics It is believed to be the only one in the UK, with only a handful still left in mainland Europe. Built in September 1967, its UK registration was in April 2019 and the Fiat has had just two owners overall since then, with the vendor acquiring it in July 2021. As an historic vehicle, the 1100R no longer requires annual MoT testing.
"The car is described as running well with no issues, and is a ‘matching numbers’ vehicle. It hasn't been upgraded save for period extras such as the FAPA roofrack. It also has an unusual period ‘carro agricolo’ (agricultural wagon) licence plate attached to its inner rear door, which backs up its vineyard heritage.
"Paperwork accompanying the vehicle includes the V5C, a workshop manual, some recent UK invoices, UK registration correspondence and a Fiat Chrysler Autos dating letter from 2019. There's also a list of the work carried out after the car came to the UK. The vehicle also comes with a spare ignition key."
Estimate: £8000 - £12,000. Sold for £8748 including premium.
