This post it was part of a set Mr S bought me for christmas. he knows i like a sticky tab and does hear WTF! frequently when assessing some of the stuff I have to go through. Today is a work day and I've had a big WTF with a questionnaire i'm filling in therefore i felt it was quite fitting for today.

I was exhausted by the workweek and this was the best expression of my lunchtime woe.

So subscribing to the what if... and WTF classificationn for the first theme of 2022.

New Year's day. 7.30am. No water. Over 30 people at our house last night with about 13 still staying. The mains water pump has broken so the 6,000 litre tank we use is completely empty. 850ft above sea level, so it's the only current supply for us and four other houses. Water Totally Finished! No washing up, no showers, no cup of tea!

Amazingly the firm we use for water engineering turns up by 11am and it takes us over eight hours to replace the pump. Luckily they had one as they can take three weeks to arrive from Italy. Luckily we didn't run out at Christmas or New Year's Eve, and luckily there are still great people working who are able to turn up on a bank holiday Saturday and fix things. It could have been a lot worse. An "Interesting" start to 2022 though.

Well, this is the object. After spending some time cyphering the faint lettering on the side, it is Lake Superior & Ishpeming X2 Steam Car. ??? I've asked around, and was told it could have been used to clean out switches clogged with snow and ice, or to keep the ore from freezing in the Jennys. Still don't know why it's in Ixonia?
