Fading into history is the art in wrought iron fences. This surrounded a small family cemetery plot.
It is from my archives where I got ready for Flickr but never posted.

Welsh Dragon on Black wrought iron gate whilst walking in Harlech.
The dragon appeared on the battle flags of various British soldiers
on their way to Rome in the 4th Century.
It was later adopted by the 5th Century Welsh King's who were keen to show their authority
following the Roman withdrawal.
The legend, the two sleeping dragons one white - one red woke up and began fighting!!!
Red - Welsh.
White - English.
Idris is the name of the
male Red dragon.
Wrought iron fence surrounding a small cemetery - West Lawn Cemetery - Brimfield Township - Portage County, Ohio
There are a number of these wrought trees adorning walls in the town of Woodstock. People decorate them at Christmas time, but they are, perhaps, most interesting in stark light. Here in the 2020, when there was little to do but work, walk, and photograph.

I don't have too many local followers. This is a too-often photographed footbridge at Elm Park, Worcester. I'm sure I had this same shot on my first roll of film in the 80s, and I continue to take it just about every time I cross the bridge.
On a bit of a slow-down due to transportation issues.
Wishing all a fine week ahead.
I don't know what he was making; a belated valentine, maybe. Late or not, his would kind of make my V-Day effort look like poop.
The renovated Victorian cast iron / wrought iron colour scheme is nice on its own, but the added red and yellow give it a vibrant, festive look :)
