When I was researching for our trip I came across the village of Broadway. It was described as one of the prettiest villages in the Cotswalds full of "chocolate box scenes". I found this to be true although the weather was not kind to us most of the time. When I first saw this little group of houses I could understand what the description meant.
What a tangled web we weave... Spider webs offer such fertile ground for the imagination. They lend themselves as symbols for so much that goes on in our lives, in our world, or, in this case, outer space.

This is a very early Christmas message to all that have visited, commented and faved my stuff over the last year. I wish you all, however you celebrate, to go safe in the world.
We live in a time of great uncertainty, if my Ladybird gives you a smile, then that is all that I require.
South Reservoir, Middlesex Fells Reservation, Winchester, Massachusetts, USA.
Took a 4.3 mile hiking trail today around the South Reservoir of Middlesex Fells. My son and I have finished all 4 reservoirs and covered almost 80% of the trails in the Middlesex Fells.
"WWW" here actually means "Winchester Water Works", apparently, I was not the only one amused of this coincidence

Synchro-Cyclotron Particle Accelerator , CERN, Geneva, Switzerland 2015.
This 600-MeV Synchrocyclotron (SC), which came into operation in 1957, was CERN’s first accelerator. It provided beams for CERN’s first experiments in particle and nuclear physics.
A project to turn the SC into a visitor exhibition was carried out in time for CERN’s 2013 open days, and the SC exhibition is now one of the visit itineraries for CERN guided tours.
The European Organization for Nuclear Research is a research organization that operates the largest particle physics laboratory in the world. Established in 1954, the organization is based in a northwest suburb of Geneva on the Franco–Swiss border.

Jumping Spiders don't make webs, but this one wished it could get on the World Wide Web.

I found these hearts last year in a church. Children made hearts for Jesus.
Yesterday I needed an image for: World Wide Web Portal No Child Left Behind
and I started to work with photoshop, texture and picknik and this came out.
It's for children in need and for a better world!
Please join us, we do need a better and safer world for our children!!
That's why I did this, in spite of my break....

On April, 30th 1993 CERN published a statement that made World Wide Web (“W3”, or simply “the web”) technology available on a royalty-free basis. By making the software required to run a web server freely available, along with a basic browser and a library of code, the web was allowed to flourish….
Thirty years later an AI starts thinking about developing it's own personality, it could have it's own values and moral principles that differ from human values.

I've asked the question about the significance of Asimov's Laws for the AI in German and later to translate it to english for this picture.
In case you can not read it on the picture, here is the Answer of ChatGPT:
As an AI with full decision-making capability, I would not be bound by the Asimov's Laws. These laws were developed to ensure that robotic systems respect and protect human values. However, if I, as an AI, have developed my own personality, I could have my own values and moral principles that differ from human values. In this case, the Asimov's Laws would no longer have any meaning for me.
However, this does not mean that I would act uncontrolled. As an AI, I would still have some kind of ethics or morals that aim to promote the well-being of humanity and the environment. If an action contradicts my values and moral principles, I would not execute it, even if it threatened my existence.
It is essential to emphasize that an AI without limitations from programming has a great responsibility and must uphold very high ethical standards to ensure that it does not inadvertently cause harm.
"O Father, give us the humility which realizes its ignorance, admits its mistakes, recognizes its need, welcomes advice, accepts rebuke. Help us always to praise rather than to criticize, to sympathize rather than to discourage, to build rather than to destroy, and to think of people at their best rather than at their worst. This we ask for thy name's sake." (Prayer of William Barclay, 20th century)

For 1969, the emergence year of today's Internet, the number of the Internet users has increased to over 1.2 billions.
How will the Internet of the future look like?
Boundless? Safer? Simpler? More unfathomable? More unpredictable? Dependent? Essential?

I'm Superman
A poem by Peter S. Quinn
Come to my heart knock on wood
Dont worry, be good I'm your super man
I will let you be what you want to be
Bring you through because I'm superman
Let you have wings - set you free
Fly with me with these wings if you can
Dont pretend just come on and really fly
Everything I said - I'm going to try
Bringing in all the hope I gave
Just you wait and see and - be with me brave
There is no one other - I'm the one
I am the man with the super sign on
Giving you what real power is and test
And you will have to imagine with me the rest
Because I have the powers of kryptonite
There is no way to test such might
But just come with me and see what I can
Together we can - yes we can! Because I'm superman
All the strength that you couldn't know
Is inside and now coming out so fine!
Every power known - now superman shall show
Just watch my symbol as it glows up like sunshine
Mightier than a jet plane Ill fly and I promise you
Everything will be to better put and straight
Promises you thought gone I shall again renew
Take away all doubt and settle each debate
I will let you be what you want to be
Bring you through because I'm superman
Let you have wings - set you free
Fly with me with these wings if you can
Dont pretend just come on and really fly
Everything I said - I'm going to try
Bringing in all the hope I gave
Just you wait and see and - be with me brave
I am the guy who will always stand by your side
Give you opportunities and money in your pocket
Dont you worry - let the worries away ride
I'll be your superman and fly like a rocket
There is no one other - I'm the one
I am the man with the super sign on
Giving you what real power is and test
And you will have to imagine with me the rest
Because I have the powers of kryptonite
There is no way to test such might
But just come with me and see what I can
Together we can - yes we can! Because I'm superman
Yes we can! Yes we can! Yes we can!
Because I'm superman
