Rhonda, Norma and I took our summer workstudy Dru out to a long overdue lunch today. She was a great workstudy... we miss having her in the office.

The week ahead is full of long work days with not a whole lot of structure. I have a lot I need to do... but without pressing deadlines and busy days i don't feel as productive... I wish it wasn't the case... but that's the truth. So, this afternoon I added something to my calendar -- I took my computer on the road up to the student union and one of the workstudies and I watched the Austria vs. Germany soccer game. I was cheering for the underdogs (Austria) but they didn't pull out a victory.
Once I got home tonight I split my time between listing some summer clothes that don't fit me anymore on ebay and googling information about my foot (it hurts a little bit today) and thinking about the need to start packing (I picked up boxes today but didn't pick up any boxes at all). That's my play by play.... stay tuned to see how productive this week will be...

2/11/13 Evanston, IL - Zhu started working at University Library her freshman year at Northwestern. She works Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday for 2-3 hour shifts. Sometimes she gets non-Northwestern affiliates who come into the library demanding for periodicals. "They get pretty aggressive," said Zhu.
