Since I had spent 3+ months on this earthenware sculpture, my teacher suggested taking pictures of it before firing. He had doubts that it would survive. I didn't quite realize what I had planned since I was running out of time and if it got much bigger it wasn't going to fit into the kiln, but it was a good initial sketch. Incidentally, it did survive the firing much to everyone's surprise. I ended up donating it to the school since I felt it was too big to lug around. It was roughly 20"x20"x25". It could be said that this was my crowning achievement in high school, my fifth and final ceramic piece.

Eventually she will have arms, legs and ears too!

This is the entire painting so far, out of focus, but that's it.

Just purchased a new place in a townhouse complex; this was my first view. Seriously needs a new coat of paint, new carpets in places and a bit of personal redecoration.

Overall - very pleased and happy.

Notice the flowers. I'm going to put a red LED in the middle of each flower. Then I have to decide what pattern they should light up in.

I am now about half way on the painting and am really enjoying working on this scale. Photoing as it progresses is helpful too, to see it as if from a distance. I can already see an area that will need some revamping.
