work in progress. hurm.

pieced quilt top. Work in progress.

This is a baby quilt made for JD Frazer (http://www.userfriendly.org) and family, to celebrate the birth of his second child.

Unfortunately, there are no photos of the finished quilt. The quilt was quilted in a 1-inch square grid that followed the piecing lines.

Shaping the head. I've left the neck area raw to make attaching to the body easier.

New hairbows, skulls cast by A Little Stranger & hand painted by me.

Here's a progress shot of the scarf I'm working on for my husband. Just cables without borders! The texture is fun, & a little funky I think!

I don't care much for WiPs, this is going to be a book....eventually

Just purchased a new place in a townhouse complex; this was my first view. Seriously needs a new coat of paint, new carpets in places and a bit of personal redecoration.

Overall - very pleased and happy.

I knit mittens up to about half an inch past the thumb, then put the palm stitches on waste yarn and cast on the same number of stitches for 1x1 rib. I finished the mitten end and made an I-cord loop for a buttonhole. Then I put the palm stitches back on a needle, picked up stitches from the back of the hand, and finished the hand and fingers like a glove.

The thumbs will get a large buttonhole to make it flippy as well.

Grabbed two perfectly sized containers and a few other things. Disappointment: Marukai 98 is no longer in Little Tokyo. There are other places, though, and I didn't get down to the bargain store inside the Little Tokyo (Mitsuwa) Shopping Center on 3rd.

Inspection day is Tuesday February 28, 2006!!!
