Kell pár tiszt is a képre. Bíborhiénán ülnek, ami egy elég vad szörny.
És keretezéshez készítem elő Varjas Jancsi egyik kedvenc versét.
My favorite things are fuzzy. You can't really tell from the photos but I am all about mixing texture. Silk and wool, cotton and satin.

I've been burning this piece for 12 hours so far. Burning temp of 5 with a shading tip.
As you can tell from the 3 photos, I have a long way to go by looking at my sketches.
This is a work in progress from a fiber collage class taken through www.joggles.com and taught by Susan Sorrell. The image is actually from this coloring book. www.flickr.com/photos/fngsmith/3101013656/
Another configuration of elements for the possible step in the "exquisite corpse" game. The frame is something that I've had for years sitting in the garage. I found it in the scrap pile at the University of Memphis' art building. It's missing a backing board, hence the MDF laying below. I've since cut the MDF, attached it to the frame and gessoed it. What you're also seeing are actual egg shells that I hollowed out 2 years ago.. I think it was two years. I tend to work in bursts and make (or assemble or whatever ya wanna call it) things that I will likely incorporate into larger pieces at a later date. Although it really isn't my problem, I feel that if I had made this piece like this, the next stage of the exquisite corpse would be nearly impossible for the artist to attribute anything to it as she is primarily a 2D artist. Though, she is clever enough to work out a way to add her own spin to the 3rd portion of the exquisite corpse game. Regardless, for practical reasons, I think this solution is a "no." I have to mail this bad-boy to Iowa and it's unlikely the shifting of egg shells would survive that journey.

Here is the winter set that I am giving to my mother-in-law. Right now I just have the scarf done.
I used Peruvian Wonders Fine Alpaca yarn on size 5 needles. I can't find a color indicator on the packaging. :( It is a vibrant spring green.
I used a single 1x1 rib for the edges. The interior is a twin rib.
Watch out for a matching hat & wrist warmers!
