I don't think I'm fooling anyone with that fey hand on chin thing going on there. I mean, you know by now that I'm just pretending to look like whatever I'm trying to look like. In this case, I don't even know what I was trying to pretend to look like, but I look like I'm trying to pretend to try.
Things get strange when you're alone in the office at night. It's quiet except for the occasional strange noise you don't want to think about, the lights are out in the background, and objects your coworkers put up to make their cubes more like home -- the things you hardly notice in the daytime -- glow with a kind of hyper-reality under the spotlight of the overhead fluorescent fixture, highlighted against the dark background. They seem alive with a life of their own.

10:00pm, and this group was still in a meeting.
There are somedays, still, when I can remember what life was like before I became a photographer - the suits, the 9-5 (or whatever!), the stress of it all. This scene brings back memories I would rather keep shoved way, way down in my mind's junk drawer.
Chase your dreams, folks. Life is too short and too precious to be spending it in a boardroom at 10pm - much less 10am.
A growing body of scientific research shows that multitasking can make you less efficient and, get this, stupider. Trying to do two or three things at once or in quick succession can take longer overall than doing them one at a time, and may leave you with reduced brainpower to perform each task. This all makes sense to me. Now the question is, how do I STOP multitasking??

I've stayed late at school today to work on substitute lesson plans. Everything takes too much time to complete.
A welder at a construction site in Dhanmondi Road - 28 (new), Dhaka, Bangladesh. Late hour welding created a great effect against the dark backdrop of more concrete.

This was a late night for me, reviewing some printed out use cases, making some sketches of what I thought it should be. Definitely gets a little tiresome to seemingly always be on the clock.
