The state dept. of transportation is working on the road in front of my work place.
This was blocking my way home the day I took this photo.

MNNR 43 and 44 arrive into Little Canada with the Hugo Job and will work Pallet Service Corporation before making the run to Saint Paul.

I came across this cordoning off some footpath work at the top of the steps leading from the beach to the Naze Tower at Walton. Check out the effect created when moving this picture up and down quickly with the cursor keys.

This is work on the Transpennine Upgrade.
The rail route between Manchester and York, passing through Leeds and Huddersfield is being upgraded to carry faster and longer trains.
This was a super rare chance to see the original deco-esque paintings that Crowley created with artist Harris reflected his own dark weird take on the deck based around his self created magick religion Thoth. The kind of work you would never expect to see in Venice which is what made it so inspiring.
A set of EMD's escaped from the Iron Range to power rock trains for the CN. The CN is busy adding about 4 miles of double track to the old EJ&E between Sutton and Spaulding. Here is O49081 getting the ballast unloaded using older conveyor belt technology and manual operation (neat to watch it unload). This once was a sleepy belt loop around Chicago for the EJ&E, now is a main artery for the CN. Power 6254,405,6256, too bad the sun was not my friend here.
