Another hawk. I don't remember why he was there but he was afraid of everyone. One of the techs hung a dead snake that had come in earlier in the day in his cage hoping he would try to eat but it didn't work.

My work space seems to be more of a storage space lately. I find myself sitting my lazy ass on the couch more now where I don't get nearly as much work done as I would like....
Here's my portable work station. I made the little pin cushion and my "palette" is a piece of commercial felt. It holds the tiny bits of fiber in their place, so they don't blow around. There is a foam pad to work on, as well, which helps me keep from stabbing myself! :)
For the most part this is what the center of the gallery looked like. A mess of paint supplies, our belongings for the day and wires.
Bryan Cansancio, 32 years old, is a construction worker and a para-athlete for track and field. In 2019, Bryan left his life as a construction worker in Cebu to train as part of the Philippine national team in Metro Manila. However, his training was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic. Bryan was then forced to become a construction worker once again in Cebu City in 2020 despite the difficulties of the community quarantine.
Bryan admits that discrimination against his disability affects the consistency of construction projects available to him. Bryan has shared that larger construction projects and companies often refuse to hire him because of his disability.
