I was at the Coconut Grove Art Festival this weekend. A couple of pieces caught my eye. I was being exceptionally lazy and did not grab either the artists name or the title of the work.

Having our work lunch with my fellows at work, a day before the holidays...
It was in this very neat Mexican restaurant called "Mexican Radio".
I had chicken burito, it was OK, the chicken peices was in the dry side... I had to dump whats left of the salsa dip on it, to make it better.
Margarita was good!
Back to work after was not easy...
...horses.
We only see them when they are on duty, but behind the scenes, they have daily routines and training that keeps them a valuable part of our city’s Police Force.”

Currently deemed to be a "Dangerous Structure" by Portsmouth City Council
This photo was taken today, 4th Feb 2015 at lunchtime. It was so cold the seafront was virtually deserted even though it looked like a summers day with the bright clear lighting.
Built in 1875 and currently closed and undergoing major refurbishment and repair by the new owners to make it safe.
South Parade Pier was very badly damaged by fire during the filming of the Who's Rock Opera "Tommy" back in the 70's.
The pier is currently too dangerous to walk on owing to rust and decay.
The highly visible rust on the castellated beams and piles will mean a lot of investigation and repair before it is safe to open.
Some of the castellated steel beams look to have very badly corroded flanges.
The Engineers will have to decide how much steel is replaced and repaired and how much is safe to leave.
Before it can reopen it will of course have to have a full safety inspection by a Structural Engineer and Portsmouth City Council
It looks like someone let loose a pack of hyenas inside my cubicle. Good grief.
And I'm pretty sure my MacBook Pro has a bigger monitor than the one sitting at my desk!
