Barcelona (English /bɑrsɨˈloʊnə/, Catalan: [bərsəˈɫonə], Spanish: [barθeˈlona]) is a Spanish city, capital of the autonomous community of Catalonia and the second largest city in the country, with a population of 1,620,943[1] within its administrative limits. The urban area of Barcelona extends beyond the administrative city limits with a population of around 4.5 million,[2][3] being the sixth-most populous urban area in the European Union after Paris, London, the Ruhr, Madrid and Milan. About five million[4][5][6][7][8] people live in the Barcelona metropolitan area. It is also the largest metropolis on the Mediterranean Sea. It is located on the Mediterranean coast between the mouths of the rivers Llobregat and Besòs and is bounded to the west by the Serra de Collserola ridge (512 metres (1,680 ft)).
The Whirlpool Aero Car or Spanish Aero Car is a cable car located in Niagara Falls, Ontario that transports passengers over a section of the Niagara River referred to as the Niagara Whirlpool. The system was designed by Spanish engineer Leonardo Torres Quevedo.
Although it travels between two points on the Canadian shore, this antique cable car will actually take you across the international border between Canada and the United States a total of four times due to the way the river elbows. No passport required!

It's amazing what you see along your jouney to photograph covered bridges. Wish I had the time to shoot them all, but occasionally I just have to stop and document the most interesting.
I have no idea what the facts of this homestead are, but the home is a log cabin from 1800's and the outbuildings are all of the most interesting design. I wish I knew if there were ever any commercial purpose to this or just a wonderlust builder enjoying the most out of life. If I ever find this place again, I need to stop and ask

It’s that insufferable urge to just be moving, knowing that although you are getting closer to your death, you are not wasting your life. You can’t control the itch to learn something new, to see something never seen, to be in that place you’ve dreamed to visit. It is, no other word for it: wanderlust

SORRY this week's photo is so belated! For the past couple of days I have become disheartened by the miserable weather and not being able to travel to locations to shoot. After much frustration, getting rained on and many failed attempts this afternoon, I am so glad I didn't give up despite everything telling me I should have. Learning to persevere in my work, even if things don't go according to plan. This is quite different to my original concept but I am so happy with the finished product nonetheless.
This smoke bomb smelt much worse than usual and didn't give very much smoke but I kinda like the more subtle effect.

Tomorrow my wonderlust will be fulfilled as I embark on a school camp trip to Mt Kosciuszko. Looking forward to beautiful scenery and photograph taking!
After many years of wish and good amount of planning, I ended up in Iceland again for the 4th time. But this time the aim was mainly to capture the northern light; which is the highlight of the solar cycle 25.
And the nature didn't leave us disappointed. We had seen the light almost every days of our stay. And no it was not a little slice on the sky. The entire sky was in fire.
With a bit of planning and some dedication, we managed to dodge the dodgy weather of Iceland. Did I manage to capture everything I wanted to?
Surely not. Come on, it is Iceland. How can you get every place the way you want? But whatever I have seen were good enough for remembering my 4th and probably the last visit of the land of Ice and Fire.
