Like most Manipuri dances Ras-Lila is associated with Lord Krishna; here you can see Krishna ( Guru Bimbabati ) is playing with Radha & her consorts. I am fan of this dance form - its color, costume, rhythm and swift movement is mesmerizing.
Every year Konark Festival is held at an Open Air Theater where the famous Sun Temple makes the back drop. In front of the 13th century architectural marvel India's best Classical dancers enthrall a large gathering of Desi & International audience for three days. Incredible Experience !

This image was taken today at Necklace road Hyderabad when agitation shown by almost 500 students and common people on account of recent gang rape happened in our capital city Delhi and also against violence against women in India. On asking why they are organizing it in Hyderabad some 2000 miles away from the actual place, felt proud to find the reply that we, hyderabadi girls are with the victim and their family and want to make sure that a strict bill should be passed in the parliament against all this violence and make sure that some strong messages should be pass on to our greedy politicians and higher authorities.
