I tried to incorporate as many details from the original set: the opening cliff became the entrance to a stash of supplies; the fold down barricade is there; the building features a bell tower rather than the sound system; and I recreated the raised baseplate in castle style.
I threw in a trapdoor into dungeon as an extra feature too.

HI. My name is Ben Petterson. I am 22 years old and I'm from Wray, CO.
But I was originally born in Kansas. I am really big into sports. I like
to watch them almost as much as I like to play them. I started playing
sports when I was 4 years old and didn't stop until I joined this motivated
gun club. The dominant sport in my family is WRESTLING. But for the few
months out of the year that we aren't wrestling, we are doing whatever the
best sport is to get us in the best shape for the next wrestling season. In
high school it was Football and Track. I also love music all kinds. I
listen to almost everything. I also believe in living life to the fullest
and treating everyday like it was your last. I have always thought: "Why
try and run with the wind when you can out run it?" Most people call this
crazy, I call it brilliant. When I get out of the Marine Corps, I plan on
going to college so that I could be a teacher and coach Wrestling and
Football. Last but not least, I would like to thank everybody for all the
support you guys have given us throughout the past 5 months. It has meant
so much to the boys and I. It has helped us more than you will ever know.
I don't know how I will ever be able to repay all you guys back, but I guess
I have to start some where so, THANKS.

For the Annual Challenge at roguebricks.de: Take a classic theme and make a new asset or recreate an existing set of a classic line.
this is "6075 Wolfpack Tower" - one of my most beloved childhood Lego sets in a new design. I tried to implement every aspect of the classic set whilst improving on functions and looks, hope that i succeeded.

I finally got myself some printer friendly decal paper, so I printed out some of Roaglanns awesome Wolfpack decals, as I've been wanting to make some Wolfpack stuff for awhile. Expect a vig sometime soon!
Also, my photoshop skills have significantly improved!

I wanted to do an homage to LEGO set 6075 Wolfpack Tower from 1992, making it a good bit larger but keeping that Classic Castle feel.
My entry for CCCX in the Classic Set Reimagined category.
Obviously, the main colours are the same. The bridge is slightly bigger and the tower is, well, a lot bigger.
The set comes with three minifig, the infamous ghost minifig, two ducks, a frog and a falcon.
Unfortunately, I could not include the playability of the original model. In fact, I think that the original Wolfpack Tower is a good example of playability hurting the overall look of a set.

I think I kind of ran out of steam towards the end, though...
Anyone got a good idea for the name?
This was a redesign of a previous build I had done. This version took it out of the jungle and eliminated the dinosaurs in favour of rehashing all of the old Wolfpa sets.

A pair of bison sprint across the Yellowstone plains, while in the background, a wolfpack tries to figure out what dinner will be after an unsuccessful attack on the bison pair.
I made a winter visit to Yellowstone, and on one of the days attended a wildlife tour by snowcoach. The highlight of the trip occurred in the first hour, when we encountered a distant wolfpack about 5 miles north of Old Faithful. As excited as I was to see the wolves, the real excitement lay ahead, as it was apparent the wolves were intently focused on something as they stalked northward. That something soon became evident, as an isolated pair of bison wandered into the open from the trees.
Bison are much larger than wolves, and are a challenging and risky meal. My guide told of a wolfpack that had taken down a bison, but it took 8 hours and 8 wolves were grievously injured or killed in the process. So common sense would tell you the wolves should find another meal. But this pack of wolves, at 15 adults, was feeling confident, and it was quickly apparent they were going to try it on. The action took place more than a half mile away, so it was hardly worth even taking photos. 11-12 wolves surrounded the bison while the remaining few set a perimeter. The bison were harrassed into running, and they ran down into a gully and were out of sight for several minutes. Were the wolves successful in taking one or both down?
After a few minutes, a wolf walked out of the gully, then another, and another. I suspected they had backed off the bison, which was confirmed when the bison appeared out of the gully moments later. Anxious to put distance from the wolves, the bison broke into a run. Bison can run up to 35mph, which seems hard to believe when you see them grazing around Yellowstone. These bison weren't at 35, but they were HAULING! For a heart stopping moment they were running almost directly at me, but they veered away at about 500 feet to run down the park roadway. Once on the road, they ran flat out until they rounded a bend and were out of my sight.
I suspect that, seeing the two isolated bison, the wolves wanted to see if either were sick or injured. Upon finding out both were fully healthy, they wisely gave up.
Been in a castle mood lately, so I figured I'd document my various armies. Then I got the urge to order more pieces for them. Now I can't finish documenting them until those show up.
It's an endless cycle.
