It's funny how Stieglitz got all wrapped up in his cloud photos, and yet, I can't deny the abstract quality of cirrus clouds. Watching them in real time as they move with the wind and expand in size is really interesting, and as Mr. Stieglitz found, captivating. October, 2020. Nikon F3HP, FPP Wolfman 100 film.

Reposting this one from a few years ago. Seems appropriate for the day, although we do not celebrate Halloween.

Here’s my favorite photo from the Austin Photowalk … one of the many street performers howls into the streetlight moon…

Finally finished painting my custom.

Hats off to anyone doing this on a regular basis, you need a lot of patience!

This is the third series of Blockhead character builds. This series celebrates all things Halloween! The second series was based on various animals and infused with expressions. The first series was based on the myriad of emotions I've seen from my newborn. There are twelve different characters in each wave, collect them all!

You can see all of the new series on my Facebook page, and if you do stop by, why don't give it a "like"!

"I am... The Wolfman."

The Wolfman??

...pages rustling...

Yep, it says, 'The Wolfman'.

It also says Rikishiman.

"I am... also known as Rikishiman."

So, what's with Wolfman?

Wolfman as in 'Jack' or lycanthrope?

"I am... THE ETERNAL YOKOZUNA!! Dosuko~i! どすこーい!"

Great, now he's yelling.

Waaaaiiiit, wait, wait. I think I remember this guy!

What, really? He's been on before?

It was a long time ago!*

"GOTTAN DESU! ごっつぁんです!!"

Now I don't even understand what he's yelling.

He looks like a sumo. Why 'Wolfman'?

"Ladies and gentlemen, I am... The Announcer. I will provide Rikishiman... *ahem*... Wolfman's origin."

GAH! An origin!

Just let Wolfman yell some more!

"Wolfman is a Japanese sumo-wrestling chojin who once held the title of Chojin Sumo Yokozuna, but later switched to Chojin Wrestling. He trains his muscles vigorously and boasts of his Beautiful Muscles of Steel (鋼の肉体美 Hagane no Nikutai-bi) (muscles that exceed Kinnikuman's).

At first he despises Kinnikuman and calls him Zeinikuman (ゼイ肉マン, Flabbyman), but after losing to him in a Sumo match he begins to respect his abilities. From then on, he appears as an Idol Chojin and fights against the Devil Chojin.

With the 21st Chojin Olympics final preliminary and his fight with Springman, Wolfman often ends up facing rather plain opponents in one-sided fights. He becomes the cannon fodder, or jobber, of the Justice Chojin (quickly and easily defeated in order to show off how powerful the villains are), dying and returning to life three times throughout the series. Despite this treatment of his character, Wolfman's specialty in Japan's national sport of Sumo has garnered him plenty of fans.

Wolfman starts with a mocking yet charismatic personality, that despise Kinnikuman for been the representative of Japan in the previous Olympics. After his defeat, he starts to respect him, and helps in multiple occasions, like facing against the Seven Devil Chojin, or giving his powers to Kinnikuman, sacrificing his life.

He seems to be pretty persistent and an optimist, with a "never surrender" mentality, as seen in Episode 13 of Deep of Muscles, were he trains continuously in the Chojin Graveyard, as well as been someone who will always try to show he is worthy to be called an Idol Chojin.

Wolfman is a bulky chojin with muscles that are far more developed then Kinnikuman. Wolfman has dark black hair that is tied up in a bun at the top of his head. Wolfman has white eyes and normally wears blue shorts with stone on the belt, normally consisting of the color of yellow or red.

He starts as a rival for Kinnikuman, but after his defeat, they become friends, and Wolfman starts to respect him more, to the point of sacrificing his own life for his sake, or helping him in spirit form in a couple of occasions.

He and Brocken Jr made a tag team to enter the Universal Chojin Tag Tournament, despite never interacting before. They don't talk at all after the arc, but later they would fight as the Most Dangerous Combo in a few battles.

Geronimo was the one that Wolfman choose to cut his topknot after sacrificing his power sphere to help Kinnikuman. And after Geronimo's death, their spirits help lifting the diamond ring were Kinnikuman and General Devil were fighting. Geronimo was also the only idol Chojin who could come to his retirement ceremony.

Wolfman is an entrant to the 21st Chojin Olympics. He first appears on television, where he challenges and provokes Kinnikuman, as they are both representatives of Japan.

Wolfman continues to taunt him throughout the preliminary events. At the third preliminary event, Wolfman slips on a banana peel and comes in at almost last place, so that he barely enters the top-50 that are able to proceed to the last preliminary event. Due to Terryman being disqualified, he is able to continue.

The final preliminary event is a ten-lap race. Wolfman knocks Kinnikuman off a bridge, at which point The Fishers knock him off in turn. They decide to call a truce and take on the remaining opponents; together they knock out the Fishers, before turning their counters upside-down from "9" to "6", so that they can convince others to let them pass out of pity. Due to a spill from Oilman, the last chojin fall down, and both men are able to pass through the finishing line and land a place in the main tournament.

The first match is against Cubeman, where they begin by staring each other down before a huge crowd. Wolfman proceeds to leave a series of slaps to all of Cubeman's square parts, which causes them to swell and extend; the red sides are blood blisters, the yellow sides are pus, and the blue sides are bruises. Wolfman then uses a Double Crush, before tossing Cubeman out of the ring. He bounces like a ball, until an elderly person pops him with an umbrella, which causes him to explode and die.

The semi-finals match takes place in Kuramae Public Arena, where Meat Alexandria acts as a guest commentator. Four people surround the ring, while Kinnikuman is required to wear a fundashi. The ring is flipped over to reveal a sumo circle, and Kinnikuman starts with a Kinniku-Sumo Kick. He attempts a brain-buster, but Wolfman evades the attack. Wolfman tries to throw Kinnikuman out of the circle, as per sumo rules, but Kinnikuman holds onto him to stop being thrown.

Wolfman delivers a Rubik's Cube Slap to Kinnikuman's face. He manages to toss Kinnikuman out of the circle, but Mayumi Kinniku bursts the swollen blisters of his head and Kinnikuman floats back into the circle.

They grab each other's belts, where Kinnikuman is nearly thrown again, and he survives again an underarm throw. Wolfman tries to crush Kinnikuman into submission, but he pushes back. Wolfman distracts him by claiming his privates are visible through his fundashi, before throwing Kinnikuman down against the ring.

Just as he is about to be declared the winner, they realize Wolfman is fully outside of the ring. Kinnikuman has used a suplex to throw him, and he has touched ground outside of the circle first, which disqualifies him from continuing in the tournament.

During the celebrations for the 21st Chojin Olympics: The Big Fight, the Seven Akuma Chojin are accidentally freed by Kinnikuman.

They kidnap Alexandria Meat during the festivities, and each take a body part, and declare that Kinnikuman must defeat each of them to retrieve a part and bring Meat back to life.

When Kinnikuman beats Black Hole, he cannot fight any longer and the Justice Chojin decide to fight on his behalf. The remaining Seven Devil Chojin - and justice chojin - match up to find their opponents, and Springman is matched with Wolfman.

He starts strong in the match, drawing blood from Springman, at Tottori Sand Dunes. Due to Springman being able to bend his body, he is able to limit the effect of the blows and absorb the impact of the Palm Punches. Wolfman attempts a Body Slam, but Springman bounces around, and - after a series of attempted Body Slams - the ring hardens like steel. Springman jumps out of the ring, creating a staircase out of some nearby rocks, and use his Devil Tomboy attack. He squeezes hard enough to kill Wolfman.

He is later revived along with Robin and Warsman by a dying Buffaloman.

Wolfman attends a chojin physical and fitness day. After having his power level halved by the new Evil Chojin, he is placed in a life-support bubble in order to maintain his strength, along with his friends. After Kinnikuman is killed in battle, Wolfman breaks free from his life-support bubble, and offers up his life-force so that Kinnikuman can live again. He reaches inside his chest and pulls out his life-force in a bloody display. Before he dies, he has Geronimo cut of his danbatsushiki as a symbol of his friendship for Kinnikuman.

He and Geronimo are later revived by the Perfect Mask.

Wolfman meets Kinnikuman with their friends. They go to Korakuen Stadium, where they discuss the upcoming Universal Tag Tournament. Wolfman announces that he has teamed up with Brocken Jr..

They make their entrance to the tournament, proving a popular team with the crowds. They are announced as official participants in the tournament with the tag name Most Dangerous Combo. After navigating a maze to their ring, which randomly pairs tag-teams in the first round, they are matched against the 20 Million Powers.

The gong for their match sounds. Screw Kid and Kendaman break onto the ring, and Brocken Jr. tries to confront them, only to be struck across the head by Kendaman. Wolfman believes that the fact Kendaman has no eyes means that he cannot see, and so he and Brocken throw him out of the ring together, only for him to use his ball to return to the ring and explain he can see. Screw Kid then attacks. He drives into both of them with his feet, while Kendaman joins him in using a Hell Screwdriver. This knocks Wolfman out and he loses his match.

Wolfman is seen again when he and Brocken help Kinnikuman and Kinnikuman Great fight off reporters trying to get a picture of an unmasked Robin Mask. [26] After that, he is referred to as being dead and his soul shows up with other fallen comrades to help Kinnikuman during the fight with the Hell Missionaries.

Without any explanation, Wolfman comes back to life and moves to Hawaii, where he has a successful career as a make-up wrestler. But, when Neptuneman sends out his message to all Justice Chojin in the world to come to Osaka and support Kinnikuman during his fight with Kinnikuman Super Phoenix, he and Jesse Maivia head for the airport together. They both show up (with Terryman and Ramenman) in time to stop the Evil Gods from attacking Super Phoenix's mother.

After the Survivor Match has passed, Wolfman has decided to retire from sumo wrestling because his tendon can't be repaired at all. His doctor notes that the tendon in the left leg went past the limit for surgeries and suggests that Wolfman should become a stable master.

During the retirement ceremony, his friends and family all take a shot at cutting Wolfman's topknot. Cubeman even shows some respect towards the man who defeated him in the 21st Chojin Olympics. Meat cries because Wolfman is the second friend to retire. Geronimo recalls the time he had to cut Wolfman's topknot during the Golden Mask arc and says that this is his second time doing this. Geronimo also praises Wolfman and calls him an unsung hero. Kani Base screws up the haircut ritual, but Coyoteman slaps him and ends the ritual with a grand recovery. Mayumi hands Wolfman a trophy commemorating his service as a Chojin Sumo Wrestler.

Black Ship interrupts the retirement ceremony, while carrying a battered Canadianman and Specialman . Meat tries to defend Wolfman, but he gets beaten up by Black Ship. Enraged by Black Ship, Wolfman challenges him to one last sumo match. Before the match begins, Geronimo tosses Wolfman's top knot back at him, giving him the strength to take on the American sumo wrestler. Despite having the advantage during the match, Black Ship loses to Wolfman because of a combination of Wolfman's Friendship Power and the Gasshō Hineri.

Wolfman attends the repurposing of the Sagrada Familia with Harabote Muscle. Harabote and Wolfman discuss his recent retirement, when the Six Spears arrive. The Six Spears attack the Sagrada Familia, killing the young chojin training on its newly built ring, and Wolfman announces he will come out of retirement to deal with the threat they pose.

Due to the Devil Chojin and Justice Chojin being trapped by Satan's force-fields, only Wolfman is able to fight against them. He strikes Lunaight, holding him about his waist, before Lunaight bites down onto his shoulder. He is then attacked by Mariquitaman and Pirateman, but returns to grab Lunaight again, only to realise he cannot hold all six chojin back.

This leads to the arrival of Teapackman, Curry Cook, Benkiman, and Canadianman. Together they challenge the Six Spears. Five of the Six Spears assume a individual position on the training rings that were placed on the Sagrada Familia, and Wolfman lands in Lunaight's ring in order to battle him.

Lunaight begins with a series of palm punches, which is then returned by Wolfman. Wolfman spots Kinnikuman on the giant screens, but - while goading Kinnikuman (who was stranded on Earth, thus avoiding the force-fields) - is bitten again by Lunaight. Wolfman forces back Lunaight's head, which rips skin from his shoulder. The sight of Wolfman willing to risk his life to save Earth inspires Kinnikuman, who heads to Spain in order to help them fight.

Omegaman Aristera asks that Lunaight sacrifice his life in battle, but Lunaight instead throws Wolfman against the ropes. [34] Wolfman proceeds to headbutt Lunaight, and the two are locked almost evenly in the centre of the ring.

Wolfman uses a right overhand throw, followed by an izori drop. Lunaight tries to bite Wolfman's right shoulder, but bites through the rope of the ring, and Wolfman counters with an underarm grab. [36] Wolfman proceeds to ask Kinnikuman why Kinnikuman never asked him for help in his Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne. Wolfman believes Kinnikuman pitied him due to his injury.

Lunaight uses a Metal Bite, which Wolfman counters with a slap. Wolfman uses a series of slaps and headbutts, and Wolfman and Kinnikuman antagonise each other, which fuels Wolfman's motivation in battle, and culminates in a Shumokuzori throw. Lunaight uses a Wolf Claw Attack, and proceeds to alter his for, before cutting him with his clawed feet and then entering a stand-off. He then transforms into a large beast. [36] The two are evenly matched, until Lunaight throws Wolfman from the ring and Wolfman is forced to hold onto the top rope to stop from leaving the ring.

Lunaight attacks with a Wolf-Tail Iron-Whip, followed with a Lunaight Bomb. A sumo-stomp is added to insult Wolfman, who is being beaten with his own sport, and Kinnikuman is reminded of their own match during the Olympics. Wolfman uses a Dragon Leg Screw, but is struck again by another Wolf-Tail Iron-Whip and a Wolfgang Spiral, as the tail wraps around him much as Springman once did in battle.

Lunaight asks Wolfman to tag out with Kinnikuman, which angers Wolfman enough to wrench off Lunaight's tail and uses a headbutt against him, but this is countered by a Metal Bite to the leg. Kinnikuman offers to tag out with Wolfman, but - inspired by their friendship - Wolfman uses a Rubik's Cube Slap.

A Metal Bite is delivered to Wolfman's arm, which he is unable to dodge due to the damage on his leg. Lunaight knocks him down with a choke-slam, but Kinnikuman uses their friendly rivalry to antagonize Wolfman into standing up, where he glows with new power, and Wolfman breaks Lunaight's jaw with a single slap, before resuming with his Rubik's Cube Slap. Wolfman attempts a Clasped Hand Twist, when - as Lunaight seems to be losing - Omegaman Aristera tells Lunaight that he cannot lose now that he has drawn out Wolfman's true power. To stop from being thrown, Lunaight digs his claws into the ring, and he starts to glow with a newfound power, in the same manner that Wolfman also glowed with power.

Wolfman is downed and sees the spirits of Canadianman, Curry Cook, Teapackman, and Benkiman. The two are evenly matched, until Wolfman summons his Friendship Power to use a Shiranui Unryu Drop. This knocks Lunaight out of the ring, who returns to his previous form, and the match is declared in Wolfman's favour. Lunaight tries to stand, but falls from the edge of the tower upon which the ring is placed, but Wolfman grabs at his arm and stops him from falling to his death. To save his pride at being saved by someone from Earth, Lunaight slashes at Wolfman's hand and chooses to fall to his death. He then motivates Kinnikuman during his fight with Pirateman.

With the years, Wolfman has gained some weight and become a teacher at the Hercules Factory. Wolfman was defeated by Clionel man. He then reappeared at ringside along with Buffaloman and Jesse Maivia during Kinniku Mantaro's fight with Scarface.

Techniques

Rubik's Cube Twist (ルービックキューブ張り手, Ryūbikku Kyūbu Harite)

Wolfman repeatedly slaps his opponent's face until it swells up to look like a Rubik's Cube (ironically first used on Cubeman, whose face looks like a Rubik's Cube already).

Wolfman Slap (ウルフマン張り手, Urufuman Harite)

Gasshō Hineri (合掌ひねり)

Wolfman's most well known finishing move. He flings the opponent into the air either by their head or by their neck.

Nekodamashi (猫騙し)

He claps his hand in front of his enemy's face to disorient them.

Body Slam (ボディスラム)

Wolfman lifts his opponent and slams them into the ground.

Izori Throw (居反り投げ, Izori Nage)

Wolfman dives towards his opponent's leg, grabs it and pulls them up.

Shiranui Unryu Nage (不知火・雲竜投げ)

Wolfman pushes his opponent into the canvas before leaping into the air with them and grabbing their right leg. Wolfman positions himself right on top of his opponent's back, grappling their arms to ensure they can't fight back, right before slamming them into the mat.

Day 3 of Horror Month October 2023

Day Fifteen:

You can throw that think as far and as many time as you please. Do I look like the kind of beastie that's going to chase after it and bring it back to you covered in slobbering drool and wagging my tail? Do not let the rather large canines and the wet dog smell delude you into thinking I'm going to be looking at you and calling you master. The only way you'll get me going after that stick is if your arm is still attached to it.

Look at me. I'm one of the children of the night. And not like those frilly shirt wearing vampires or the lumbering Meccano set that Frankenstein has been putting together. I've seen Ikea furniture being put up quicker than his creations. I am my own beast. The alpha of my pack of one. I'll have you know that when I miss the toilet it's on purpose and I'm marking my territory.

You however do have a deliciousness about you. Like chew toy. Do you squeak? Shall we find out? Aww c'mon don't run, don't make me run. This is not going to end well for one of us. Dammit. Stitch. Sorry, yes you're right. Shouldn't have said "Dammit"

What are we? We're Werewolves, not Swear-wolves.

Wolfman’s territory...

A longtime resident of these woods, the rabble rousin’ Wolfman will astound you with his antics, all in an attempt to keep curious visitors away from his secret mining operation of the precious mineral: unobtainium. Note to parents: Use discretion with your pre-school tots.

I'd met Mischa once before whilst out making photos, so when I saw again him a went over & said

' Hey Wolfman.... hows it going ?"

"not so good " he replied sounding very despondent

I noticed that he was crying and looked distressed, he told me that he had lost his son .

I offered him a hug as he looked like he needed one . I asked when did that happen and he told me it was a long time ago but he'd just remembered it .

I continued to talk to him and he began to cheer up we chatted about his days in the music business and he showed me a photo of when he was a young and very handsome man with his beautiful wife .

As we continued talking I made some pictures and this really seemed to lift his mood and on a couple of occasions when I put the camera down and he told me not to stop and keep clicking.

It was as if he went into a performance posing whilst reciting lines from songs and telling stories . He kind of reminded me of Ian Dury from the Blockheads , who coincidently was originally called Kilburn and the Highroads which is exactly where I met Mischa.

When I got home I was curious and checked online searching for Mike Wolfman Mischa and found quite a few pages , this one is interesting and it's him speaking about agoraphobia - www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZI6IPyhCHY
