I'm sure the bus drivers lot is not a happy one and with a board in the front window I wonder how many people will still ask if it's going to Compton. Wolverhampton was an interesting place for buses in about 1990 so by those standards this grant bodied Plaxton Supreme, Leyland Leopard of Midland Red North carrying Wellington Garage Tellus was maybe a bit mundane but alas not any more. They certainly scratched around for local operating names as a combination of Telford and Bus wouldn't even win that episode's task on The Apprentice as displaying a stroke of genius. I wonder if the ever considered 'Wrekin Bus' but if they had I'm sure people would have nodded in agreement as buses do seem to go around The Wrekin as we say up here.
